Such an easy response to the letter to DC...im sure in a parralel universe that the tabloid "nus" responded to the Mccanns heartfelt letter in this same way
“Children are our most precious gift”...oh the irony

How do you think he will get on in his interview for the part of Christian Grey in the upcoming film 50 Shades of Grey?

the dominant male character in the book - Christian grey -is 27.
Gerry is approx 44 so he may suffer age discrimination (is that illegal in this context?) and not get the part. Shame!
My wife tried to read the book - gave up after about 100 pages. The book has much in common with Kate's book - not well written - repetitive - yet sold by the bucket load.

For those like me who reside in darkened rooms or caves and have never heard of this novel:

Nor me, I would find more interest, excitement and thrills reading my Arsenal Annual!

I think I'd almost prefer to read Kate's book than that one!
Bobsy, I think that bottom photo is of Gerry - obviously not taken at a good moment. I also try to avoid personal comments in view of my own striking resemblance to my avatar - not quite the right shade of green though, unless I've just read a particularly sycophantic tabloid article about the McCanns.

I don't blame you badboy . I saw a review in a newspaper that said it was "Barbara Cartland with porn" Not for me, I like a good psychological thriller. Something to get my teeth into so to speak

Re: Gerry McCann:'Something In His Eyes Dead And Cold Like A Shark'.
While I agree the photograph of Gerry driving the car, is very spooky, both of the couple have looks that spook me.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I hope someone is looking out for Sean and Amelie. I can imagine their parents flying off the handle, if they as much as spill water, or refuse to eat something they don't like.
I wonder if any of Sean and Amalie's playground chums, have started to tell them a different story, to the one their parents have fed them for the past 5yrs. If they haven't it won't be long before they do.

Re: Gerry McCann:'Something In His Eyes Dead And Cold Like A Shark'.
Some time ago somebody wrote here that their dentist had worked in the same hospital as Gerry. When G entered a room, generally others left, he wasn't popular as a colleague it seems.
Imo it's not just the eyes, the mean little mouth helps the impression of contempt I often see on that face. It's a blessing he doesn't operate on anyone. I've been looking for that clip of Gerry 'treating' a patient. It's almost hilarious, the poor man on the bed being treated like so much meat. A clip for the benefit of people who still think that Gerry is in the NHS to save people's lives.
