I was wondering if it were possible that, since
Tony's assertions are largely based and extracted
from the PJ's conclusions, would it not be appropriate
for the Pj to assist Tony financially or other?
IMO Tony has become a 'stalking horse' so I believe
deserves the full backing of the Portuguese authorities.
Tony's resolve and hopefully a favourable result would
assist another pending case over the hill.So lets hear
it from the PJ.

your suppose to be innocent till proven guilty ...how the hell can the mccs prove what tony has printed is lies...what a sorry state ..when it all boils down to how famous an expensive your lawyer is..,, if your not rich or famouse...your scattered like flies regardless of the truth or justice ..because that is what they are payed to do...

so sorry tony you are having to stand alone on this ...all we can give you is our support ...if only some one could stand with you ...you deserve so much better for the courage/dedication you have shown

I cant make up my mind if this case against tony is about what he is allowed to say online ,or is it about saying he would not repeat it and he did something along those lines?would that make it like cotempt of court? i have got muddled about all this ,i am not speaking offensive,just want to know if i have wrong end of stick? joyce1938

He promised or was told not to repeat or sell the leaflets but he was caught in a scam which someone persuaded Tony to give or sell one off these booklets....

One undertaking was not to repeat allegedly defamatory statements? That could cover a helluva lot of people if all the lawyers have to say is that the statement is allegedly defamatory.

Tony Bennett may have made an error of judgement, regarding the leaflets, but whatever he did, he did for the right reasons. In my opinion the piece of scum who scammed Tony, was probably someone within Team McCann.

The McCanns didn't make an error of judgement when they participated in the disappearance of Madeleine. They made a conscious decision to do what they did on the night Madeleine disappeared and if they were speaking the truth the nights before, each time they went out.

Good luck to Tony, when he returns to court, let's hope the Judge, makes the correct decision at the end of the proceedings, which is to find against the McCanns.
