In Tesco today 2 packs of 160 Tetley tea bags works out at better value that the special offer on a pack of 240!

A TESCO REDUCED OFFER HAD ITEM AT £2,78 REDUCED TO £2.79.
I AM WONDERERING IF SOMEONE DOESN'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A REDUCTION AND AN INCREASE.

THIS COULD BE THE MOTHER OF ALL DAFT OFFERS,YOU CAN BUY A BOOK FOR £32+, BUT BOOK SUPPOSEDLY DOESN'T EXIST,NO SUCH BOOK HAS EVER BEEN WRITTEN!

Tesco are the worst offenders for false markdowns. A while ago they offered a pack of 4 small tins of Tuna for £3.79 "Half Price".....Iceland had the very same product for £3.00 .

Also, they have an area for out of date stuff in the Freezer section and the markdown is average 20 pence.....needless to say they don't sell much.!!!
Tesco are lagging behind now , Aldi and Lidl , also Sainsbury's are leading the Supermarkets.

isn't the cl the proof? I have seen the size bottle and a litre is 2 pints so that would be right.

Panda, cl is centilitres, therefore the volume. And a litre of water is a pint and three quarters! (pint is 20 fluid ounces and a litre is 36)

Well according to my Milk carton 4 pints is 2.272 litres so I wasn't far off !!!!

Hi badboy, you are spot on re the crafty marketing ploys we see around .Another one is to have 2packs taped together , yes a special deal ,tomorrow they may be seperated and the price doesnt match the half of price of package ,i wont touch it . you are always trying to make sure i am getting what i think i am getting ,and it makes me just put it back and walk away by way its often in iys latest sell by date at that stage.we need to be so savvy to shop well these days dont we ?joyce1938

Well, I got me a great bargain today! A real one! It's a Land's End beige mac, reduced from over £100 to £10! Woweee! It was reduced because three buttons were broken and one was missing, but the coat came with a little packet of spare buttons. Took me about 10 minutes to do those buttons!
