Thats how it reads to me , afraid of what might be revealed .Maybe Amaral has something to say that they would rather remain unsaid , not that the British press would print anything which does'nt portray them as saints .

I think (might be wrong!) that he is also able to prevent them Withdrawing the Case in certain circumstances too - I wonder if they tried to Withdraw it? That would be most interesting.
