It all sounds to me like Graham Perry is using mccann to get PR for the charity, charities with missing children are huge business, and there really are some very wealthy Russians- And same time help his heroes, mccanns, with the spin they need, and maybe get more money too.
And Hewletts Son is willing to "help" .. for little ..guess... yes, money too.

A BLACKPOOL paedophile who was a prime suspect in the hunt for Madeleine McCann is reported to have provided clues to her possible whereabouts before he died.

Raymond Hewlett, who died in 2010, was wanted for questioning following the disappearance of Madeleine, when the family’s private detectives believed the 64-year-old bore a striking resemblance to the description of a straggly haired man who was seen near the McCann’s apartment on the night of her disappearance.

Hewlett, who grew up on Hawes Side Lane, Marton, was thought to have been living in Portugal, just an hour away from the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz, when she disappeared in May 2007.

It is now bring reported Hewlett, who died from cancer, told his son he knew who abducted Maddie from the apartment in Portugal before he died.

The revelation has now lead to fresh searches for the young girl in Russia and Ukraine.

Posters in Russian with pictures of the youngster are being distributed from the charity’s offices in Kiev and Moscow.

A spokeswoman for the Ukrainian Missing Persons Association has reportedly said: “A family representative contacted us and we made a leaflet to spread with the intention of finding this girl.”

Hewlett had a history of child abuse offences but he always protested his innocence in the McCann search.

Hi kitty .... and i'll say again its just nonsense , desperate measures from desperate people who are desperate to lay the blame on anybody , anybody as long as its distracts the attention from the real culprits .Sadly this little girl IMO is dead has been since May 2007 .I find these constant sightings an insult to the memory of a dead child and how the parents have the brass neck to keep up this charade is beyond me and any other decent human being .I find it insulting that they think the general public are so stupid that they keep falling for this guff.

You know what i'm bored to tears with this guff if this is the best they can come up with , well what can i say .This is why i go on the missing list sometimes , it is'nt that i've given up its the sheer frustation .As for the Sun and the Daily Wail ....well a more brainwashed bunch you would be hard pressed to find .If this dead man knew anything why was this very important letter he supposedly left to his son destroyed , his son could have made money from the possession of this letter , but what does he do , he burns it .As you would .

I'm wondering if a headline will be re-animated tomorrow or more likely on Friday. So far it's all dying a natural death. People are bored to tears with the mcCanns unless they come up with a new trick.
The ones who believe will always believe by now. No point in trying to convince them. I think it's a fairly small minority.
