textusa - hewlett - a perfect solution
http://textusa.blogspot.co.uk/2011/11/mystery-of-profile-l.html
This is an amazing article - well worth a good read.
In the Textusa article she quotes a comment:
I made note of some comments on blogs, some of which are now defunct, relating to the semen/saliva debate, as some people appeared to have inside knowledge. Second comment on 14.2.10. “The problem with the case is the amount of support given by the very top of the British Government. They will ask for a review, not a re-opening of the case by the British Police. There is one DNA sample described by the FSS as allegedly matching a profile from another crime, but could not be pinned on a name. Once they have the authority to review the case, this will be attributed to Raymond Hewlett and the case will be solved” This second commentator seems to have had the gift of foresight! ………..
unquote
Note the date of this comment......14th February 2010. This is before david cameron was prime minister and over a year before the review was asked for! Roll forward 3 years and we are at this stage. This is why this hewlett story has resurfaced now imo. We are being prepped for the next big and final revelation that the DNA sample by the now defunct FSS matches the profile from a dead hewlett past crime. This will end the story with no where to go as there is no FSS and no hewlett...
(I'd like to add that the above paragraph was not written by me but another member)

It might have been over a year before the pleading from Healy & McCann, but these things take considerable time to Scope, to render Feasible and to Implement. They don't just pop-up straight after a letter to the papers (unless made to appear so ................).

Quite: TextUSA is among a group of dedicated Bloggers who are adept (sometimes!) with words, and can be persuasive and convincing on occasion, but their theories are, in truth, no more helpful or realistic than the many others that arise from those of us seeking to form a view based on available information. Some are downright drivel.

Their find-a-scapegoat campaign is stultifyingly dull. It's in dire need of a freshen-up.
But Hewlett is all they have now, so it's no wonder he keeps popping up like a deceased jack-in-the-box whenever a distraction is needed. It's no surprise that he's doing the rounds again now and if there's another negative story next week he'll probably be there again (NZ and Brazil/Ibiza having been abandoned).
Groundhog Day has become Hewlett Day. The Law of Diminishing Returns applies. The time is fast approaching when even the most unaware of newspaper readers will be snorting: "Oh gawd, not that bloody Hewlett again!"

Re: textusa - hewlett - a perfect solution
My take on it is that soon SY will have to come up with something better than they did last year. Even the general public isn't going to be impressed with yet another age advanced photograph and the possibility of her being alive being 50%. After Leveson and Hacked Off, I doubt that the press would make much of that story. Another Panorama will be one too many too imo.
Therefore imo the Hewlett angle has everything SY might want, a dead paedo and destroyed evidence that 'could' have proved the case. A letter confessing the crime which was destroyed by the affectionate son. By the way, how's he doing financially speaking?

I've sometimes wondered about that - he is described as a builder. Which could mean he works for a company or has a small business of his own - a sole trader maybe.
Whichever, times have been hard for many of late.
All one can say is this - a good newspaper story could go a long way towards rescuing anyone having a few problems when a long recession begins to bite ...

I think it almost certain this is their preferred way out and i do think the majority of the public will buy into it as we are being bombarded with peado's around every corner.
Only problem is the possibility that the real truth is still out there somewhere so they will have to throw in a few caveats before they wind it up.

Or maybe they'll just act Professionally and in accordance with all the Statements/Documentation/Information/Intelligence/Evidence leads, and act as agreed during Liaison with Lisbon?

Whatever SY decide to do this May, I hope we don't get another dose of Mr Redwood's quantum indeterminacy. I kinda understand why he did it, but I wish he hadn't.
Not least because such talk makes me want to throw something hard and heavy at the telly.

@Lioned:
One would hope so.
Whilst it's clear that there are/have been far too many scandals of late and whilst it's also clear that the McScam affair begs many, many, questions about how it has been presented, I personally still believe in integrity, good faith and professionalism as the norm. Let's face it, if there weren't the latter qualities in spades, much of what has been unearthed in recent months would still be buried.
It's understandable that well-intentioned people come up with all sorts of possible explanations/hypotheses/theories/conspiracies/whatever one might call them in order to fill voids in knowledge - but most of them will not only be wrong, but will be very far from the reality. We don't like "not knowing"!

Sorry tein, both posted at the same time. I applaud your optimism. In this particular case I have no hope of due process being re-instated. Remember that all the ones that are being uncovered are about dead people.

Yes, we discussed it ad-inf at the time and had the usual broad (nay, vast!) range of opinion about the whats, whys and wherefores - but apart from that particular interlude, SY have kept schtum since.
The encouraging thing for me is that liaison and cooperation with Lisbon seems to be strong.

Isn't that what the Madeleine Case is about, in a way .............................
I don't mind at all being seen as an optimist - too much gloom and doom can turn into self-sustaining pessimism.

Better after getting his £20,000 pieces of gold for giving this garbage.

Is that a number you got from somewhere? I was just joking but if it's the reward for losing an important document in which just about anything could have been written... endless opportunities!
