Re: British police denied access to vital DNA clues
I know there was little DNA evidence of Madeleine in the apartment (which sets off alarm bells by itself) but was the DNA on the pillow case definitely matched to what there was?

UUM, what about Madeleine's bedroom, supposedly intact, there must be lots of books and toys with her DNA available. I never understood why Gerry, who would know the importance of DNA ,took a Pillowcase, which could have come from the twins Bedroom. why only one article anyway.?
All i hope is the Trial is not postponed while all this is ongoing. If I were the Portugese Government I would demand and early trial, no excuses.
Panda, I believe the DNA from the pillowcase was found to be that of a female child of Kate and Gerry who was not Amelie, therefore assumed to be Madeleine's.
Probably AnnaEsse, but what about Madeleine's Books, toys etc....I often wondered why Gerry, knowing the importance of DNA, only took one article .

Re: British police denied access to vital DNA clues
How come there was none of Madeleine's dna, on the pillowcase of the bed she slept in, or on the clothing she wore, for the short time she was in the PDL apartment?

Because Kate had all her clothes Washed in the Ocean Club Laundry Room, except a pair of White sandals that Amelie said she was going to wear when she was older.

Hi Panda
On the night Madeleine disappeared, she was supposed to have been in bed, so if none of her clothes had dna on them, because they had been washed, surely there would have been dna on the pillow case on the bed she was supposedly sleeping in, when she disappeared.

This is the ridiculous part, the McCann Family were moved out that night and moved in with the Paynes until another Apartment was found for them the next morning. The Chambermaids must have gone in to strip the Beds because no one thought of forensic evidence apparently.

What mother of a "missing" child would even be thinking about laundry?

Exactly! Only a mother who had MUCH to hide would think of laundry and cleaning while her child was "missing" and, I should add, while strangers were looking for Madeleine.

When Jane Hill of BBC 1 was interviewing the McCanns she asked why Kate and Gerry did not join in the search, so many Portugese people searching, some for days. Kate said "Well we were busy".!!!!!

For some reason "Busy doing nothing" has come to mind......
Other than jogging, playing tennis and making up whoppers as they went along of course.

Leicester Police havn't got any.
The FSS testing was for the Portugese and later destroyed because FSS said they were not asked to return it. Murray just won.

Wasn't it the meat bought in the Supermarket that leaked blood on the Wheelbase?

The McCanns sent all their clothes to the laundry the day after Maddie's disappearance without telling the police!!

Re: British police denied access to vital DNA clues
thank you for reminding me Carolina, I didn't recall the chambermaids had gone into the apartment for cleaning the following day. Why would you do that, you child is missing, you've been up all night "busy doing other things" then you sort your clothes and send them to the laundry. OK shock does some things to people, but im sure the laundry would be low down on anyones list.

Kate and Gerry must have a different way of looking at things than ordinaty folk. While most Parents would be out in the streets screaming their daughters name . leaving the twins to be cared for by one of the Group. When Jane Hill in the BBC interview asked Kate why they didn't go searching with all the Portugese many of whom took time off work the following day to continue the search , kate said ...... And to be fair, as Kate said another reason "why i didn't search for my missing daughter was because.......................IT WAS DARK!"

Was this before or after Kate and Gerry's televised interview with Jane Hill. On that occasion, Kate told Jane, that she wanted to join the locals in their search for Madeleine, but for the first 48hrs they were non functioning. As Panda states, Kate also said they were very busy, it might not be physically searching for Madeleine, but they busy doing other things to find her.
It would have been interesting to see what Kate's answer would have been, if Jane had asked her what she was doing to find Madeleine, that didn't involve physically looking for her. What is even more interesting is, Kate wrote in her book of filth and lies, that she and her husband were out looking for Madeleine and they were the only ones looking for her. In one interview she and her husband gave to promote her ghastly book, she said all the ones who were looking for Madeleine, went home when it was dark. If the lying b**ch had put her brain in gear, before she opened her mouth, she would have remembered that when she raised the alarm of Madeleine's disappearance, it was already dark.
One would have thought that instead of bitching about the police, the locals, the holiday makers and the staff of Warner and the Tapas Bar, Kate would have uttered words of thanks to these good people. In my opinion Kate McCann and her husband along with their mates, did not search for Madeleine, because they all knew there was no point in searching and they all knew the reason why.
