whos there for the mcanns ? friends that were there at the beginning no - WHY NOT - wouldnt you want to be there for your friends - i mean they was all in this together at one stage - also if i as a mothedr had been accused of harming my daughter - i would want to look ga in the eye and tell him of the hurt and what he had done to my family - NOBODY would fight my corner but myself and husband - there was a lot of time off for the last 6 years - why not now ? i would also like to think my family and inlaws there for suport too - all in it together

It would be pure hari kari for them to take the stand, as the multitude of interviews they've given with bare faced variations and deviations are legion. They would incriminate themselves in no time flat. 

Jeez, not one of the tapasniks is there as a witness either... what does that tell you?  The deep fear of them and their mates must be palpable.

cass I believe it could be a put up job to try and grab headlines, for G McC to tell the court about the awful malicious lies according to the Daily Express. well maybe hell get to say it outside, if he cant say it inside, and then "no questions".

how much more are portugal going to take from this circus - think they need to get tougher - wonder if they have known all along things like this would happen - think they should announce that they are reopening the case - today or soon

2. I understand that Murdoch got sued but why can't the press give a true neutral report of what is happening? Even in Sweden the newspapers follow the McCann fan club line. Do we know any journalists that can explain what is going on?

3. Do we have any information about why all the obvious real facts in this tragic crime are totally ignored by Scotland Yard etc.

I know all these questions have been raised many times but it is so frustrating.   

How can anyone take these people seriously? Trash Cameron, looked liked she had spent the night with the local crack dealer. I mean, when you go to court you look the part, Christ she looked like, she had been on the razz and was going like it was a favour!!

i have bumped this because i was talking to a work friend about it yesterday - pro - then on the fence leading to looking more into this since court case with ga

now if it is true that sy have advised gerry and kate not to go to portugal this week - why have they gone against their wishes ?also regarding these witnesses for gerry and kate was they there any of them on the night madeleine went missing - no

maybe just maybe the tapas have been told by sy that they cannot go - arnt they supposed to be witnesses to the case - how can they go if thats true wouldnt they predudice a future trial

Yes so very frustrating indeed. Just where are these Tapas crew ...I cannot believe unless told not too that at least one of them hasn't surfaced. In the beginning though didn't I read somewhere that everything had to be done through G M. Maybe that is wrong.

I have wondered over and over and over again just why all the authorities appear to totally ignore the ever changing stories and discrepancies in the fairytale stories continually told by the Mccanns and their friends. I would also like to know just why Cameron has thrown so much money at this horrible couple when other families of missing children get no help from the government and very little help from any authority. Just why are the Mccanns allowed to keep changing their stories without ever once being challenged? Something is very wrong indeed and has been from day one, the big question is what and why?
