The SY investigation is about undermining the Portuguese findings and inventing a suitable patsy.

It should be easy to sniff him out - if he is a bin man and assuming his official status is that of a civic worker, they should be able to establish his i.d. and what routes he worked on.

Hogan-Howe, knew that no decent cop, especially if they had children, would have volunteered to take part in this investigation, because they would have known that the conclusion of the investigation, would lead to the McCanns being exonerated and Madeleine, bereft of justice.

It wasn't long before the incompetent Deadwood/Redwood, unwittingly revealed that the investigation was corrupt. The investigation, had barely started, when he announced to the media, that the McCanns and their mates, were not persons of interest to him. If he had half a brain, he would have kept that information within the 'last chance saloon'.

It wasn't too long before Deadwood/Redwood, made more gaffes. He told the media that 38 people, including cleaners and dead paedophiles, who had been cleared by the PJ, were persons of interest to he and his team. Deadwood/Redwood, seemed to have forgotten that he and his team were assisting the PJ, not the other way round.

In my opinion, the PJ, should close the investigation, remaining associates of this corrupt bunch of British cops, will tar them with the same brush. The PJ tried and failed to get justice for Madeleine, back in 2007/8, thanks to certain members of the British and Portuguese Government. Back then, the British Government's agenda, was to make sure the McCanns never faced justice. The British Government are still following the same agenda, only this time, they've enlisted Scotland Yard, to find a 'patsy' to take the blame for Madeleine's disappearance. Preferably a dead 'patsy.

I can understand Ben Needham's mum being frustrated at all the help the McCanns have been given by the British Government. She feels that Ben's disappearance, means nothing to the Government. However if she sat down and thought about it, Madeleine's disappearance, means nothing to the British Government. If it did, the British Government, would not have interfered with the PJ's original investigation and the McCanns would be

   Yes, it looks increasingly like a rearguard action being conducted as a war of attrition: in other words keep it going long enough until the opposition (in this case all those looking for justice for Madeleine) is completely worn down. In the face of all the facts, which are already a matter of record, they cannot exonerate the McCs, but ignoring the facts and keeping this thing going forever is the next best option. For all those who maintain that if something had had to be covered up at the highest level the McCs would have conveniently disappeared before this had broken cover in the media - IMO the unseeming haste with which the story hit the headlines putting the McCs in the spotlight i.e. in public view with walkabouts, press conferences & photo sessions, visits to USA, meet the Pope etc. could well have initially been McCs' own survival tactics which were supported by the powers that be once the option of 'removing' the McCs became a non-starter .

I agree that Redwood can't publicly exonerate the McCanns, when he concludes the corrupt investigation. However he can exonerate the McCanns without using the word exonerate, by either finding a 'patsy' to take the blame for Madeleine's disappearance, or stating Madeleine was taken by person/s unknown.

This will leave the McCanns free to make even more money on the back of Madeleine's disappearance. The film deal that Clarrie has spoken about in the past, will come to fruition. The McCanns will also agree to give more interviews, as long as they're paid for giving them. They'll be praising the work that Redwood and his team have put into the investigation and they will be slagging off the PJ, for not investigating Madeleine's disappearance in a professional way, even though the world and his wife knew that their hands were tied from the beginning.
If the libel case collapses, without giving a reason why, this will give the McCanns, more ammunition to slag off Goncalo Amaral.

Also the ones who have had a reason for making sure the McCanns are never brought to justice, will be able breath a sigh of relief, knowing that their dirty secret will stay behind closed doors.

Once the McCanns have milked their cash cow Madeleine dry, they'll more than likely leave the country and find themselves a safe haven in another country, where they are relatively unknown. Kate McCann will once again resume her duty as a GP and between them, the McCanns will become pillars of society. Madeleine will be laid to rest, in the minds of the McCanns, whether she'll be laid to rest in the minds of the twins, depends on how good a job the McCanns have done in brainwashing them.
