Info about John Buck
file:///C:/Users/user/Downloads/ambassador-john-buck-timeline-madeleine.html
I have info stored in my Computer I didn't know I had , it was only an anti virus check that this article came up......very long , but worth a look , especially the Freedom of Information request.
Is anyone else having trouble opening this file? I had read only a part of it , it's very long...let me know if you can read it.
I note a few more have looked at this post but none admit they could not open the link so assume it is only me!!!
Mods, can you have a look and if you can read the link transfer this thread to the main link I just posted, if not , cancel this link . Thanks

I'm not sure they will be able to Panda, as the C: bit says it can only be accessed from your computer (it's on your hard drive)
You could copy and paste it?

Re: Info about John Buck
Hi Margaret, it's pages long that's why I didn't fancy copying and pasting. The daft thing is I only came across it when my anti virus did a check and all this stuff came up from 2011 , including this report , when you say it's on my hard drive I wouldn't know how to access it Anyway it does confirm that Ribiero received the call from Buck at 11pm which gave Gerry until 10.40pm when the Portugese Police were notified for Gerry to phone Tony Blair and Blair to phone Buck.margaret wrote:I'm not sure they will be able to Panda, as the C: bit says it can only be accessed from your computer (it's on your hard drive)

We can't have two threads running about John Buck so the Mods should merge them. I just posted on the other one that the call to the Portugese Police was timed at 10.40pm so Gerry had time to phone Tony Blair in the U.K. before phoning the Police........why would he phone Tony even before the Police?????

Re: Info about John Buck
Even if it wasn't Gerry making these calls, it's still a pretty rapid response, as whoever was phoned by one the the group, would need to contact someone in the Foreign office first - they wouldn't just be able to contact Buck direct. It doesn't sound like somebody phoning a friend who just happens to be friendly with a high ranking politician, more like a direct contact.

PJ forced to investigate abduction trackAugust 12, 2007
José Carlos Marques
Alipio Ribeiro, national director of the Judicial Police received a telephone call from John Buck, the British ambassador in Portugal, on the night Madeleine disappeared from the Ocean Club, May 3.
GOOGLE TRANSLATION:
At about 23:00, about two hours after he was involved the child's disappearance, Alipio Ribeiro had to stop a private dinner to hear the diplomat. The phone call was the first sign that the British were very interested to follow closely the action of the PJ and push towards the abduction investigations.
"The PJ has lost too much time investigating the abduction," said a source close to the CM research. The pressure of British diplomacy will only be slowed when they arrived in Portugal British police officers who supported the redirection of research for the hypothesis of murder. The biological evidence found in the apartment were decisive to change the course of the investigation, or at least for the PJ to admit publicly that change.
The decision to deepen the hypothesis of the death of the child at the Ocean Club - and the consequent re-evaluation of the testimony of Maddie's parents and friends of the couple - was taken into account the views of the British police.

What about this then....the British Police who were in Portugal went for death , not abduction , yet SY have been working for almost 3 years on abduction.!!!

No, SY have spent most of their time reviewing the evidence files. They have only recently changed to an investigation which is concentrating on an abduction theoryPanda wrote:8/12/2007 Posted by Winnower

Re: Info about John Buck
EXACTLY Jassi, the files would have included reports from the LP Detectives in Portugal for the first few months and would have mentioned their doubts, yet SY ignored this, same as they ignored John Buck's Report ... WHY..........??????jassi wrote:No, SY have spent most of their time reviewing the evidence files. Who knows how Redwood is reaching his conclusions, but I'm sure he's doing his best to carry out his orders, as are the rest of his team.

I hope you are right , but if these latest "suspects" splashed across the Press are part of his 38 "persons of interest" I won't hold my breath that he has found something valuable when everyone else has failed.jassi wrote:Who knows how Redwood is reaching his conclusions, but I'm sure he's doing his best to carry out his orders, as are the rest of his team.

Re: Info about John Buck
Realistically none of these people may prove to be of any interest, any more than the much publicised phone traffic that SY seem so keen on, but they have to go through the motions. Cooperman has reappeared, courtesy of the media, rather than from SY and it is quite likely that some of the 'suspects' have been eliminated already.
