How much longer for some real news
There is no news. I think we will have to wait till the end of the year before anything comes out. I don't know if this means something is happening behind the scenes or nothing is happening at all. The only thing that's real is that there is a review, there was a Crimewatch and the investigation is happening in Portugal and the UK. Otherwise there is no news whatsoever. Only that Tannerperson wasn't the abductor. And some people doubt that even.

MaryB , I think SY should end it's investigation, it is going nowhere and costing the Taxpayer a fortune. If the Portugese have information or suspects , let them carry on with the investigation without interference.

Hi Panda, I quite agree. I don't think there ever will be any news

I agree. It will all end as there was an abductor we have an idea who it might be but we can't get them because ...................... And then there will be loads of front pages for the next forty years speculating who it was.

Hi Angelina, when you think, an appeal against the 2 bedroom tax has just been turned down, when there were genuine cases for having two bedrooms, yet the Government doesn't bat an eyelid for 6 million pounds squandered on the investigation. Cameron will lose the next Election UKIP will gain a few seats, the Liberal Democrats will lose a few seats and we will see the far right winning a few seats , so like Germany there will be no overall majority , that's my prediction.
Labour, always quick to criticise, has not commented on the cost of the investigation ...I wonder why?
