Ukraine crisis....it is looking very serious now

"Russia's defence ministry says they crossed the border "by accident"......oh yeah, we believe you .

The "truce" has already been broken by small groups of Donetsk soldiers but the general opinion is that the truce will hold while the leaders work out a settlement. The big question will be whether the rebels in Donetsk etc will abide by the rules, Putin wants Russian spoken in the
area nearest the border , will that be enough for the rebels in Donetsk?

If Russia hadn't armed the Ukraine and incited the seperatists this wouldn't have happened. What a nightmare for the people who were quite happy living in a dual language Society and have now lost their homes , livelihood and more importantly loved ones because of a few rebels who were encouraged and given weaponry by Putin

Marky, the Ukraine was negotiating to join the EU when Putin cut a swathe through the Country , first of all taking Crimea to protect their Warships , now targetting those areas nearest their Borders , arming the "rebels" who are killing indiscriminately , The Polls were a farce and Putin now threatens the EU if they go ahead with sanctions. The U.S. and Britain are reluctant to send troops into Ukraine , the EU Countries, particularly Germany , who buy Russian oil are very vulnerable , but they won't want to go to War physically with Russia.

go back to earlier this year. the eu encouraged an uprising that saw the overthrow of a democratically elected president.
