The Commonwealth Games

Really looking forward to these games.

Amazing how they have prepared the stadium by raising up the whole ground level on stilts at Celtic FC.

Very colourful opening ceremony so far.

Lets see what the Scots can do !   

I'm sat here trying to work out whether to be impressed, or black affronted!   

There was a lot of different characters and things going on at once and I must have missed bits. I hope somebody's put this on YouTube tomorrow.

See the English team got the biggest cheer of the night so far.

I do like the way they have integrated the 'para' events with the main schedule.Makes a lot of sense and has worked very well.
Watched the 'Weir' wolf last night,what a class act he is.

Fair play to Usain Bolt for putting on a great show last night and the rest of the team and Englands team as well in the show piece 100 mtr relay final.

Spent plenty of time on the lap of honour playing with the kids in the crowd.Well worth the ticket price i would have thought.Kids were loving it.

And well done to the Scots all round,loads out lining the streets this morning for the cycling events.

Looks like its all been a great success.

Really good what they managed to do with the stadium.
