It's good news day.
Just announced on sky news, the NHS will pay for ALL of Ashyas' costs in Prague. This has been decided because no one is sure how long the treatment will take.

Brilliant news.
Re: Ashya King
Yes, isn't it It is thought that Ashya may need 30 treatments costing upwards of £65,000 . To put the icing on the cake, the donors to his Fund agreed it can be used by the Family to pay for their expenses in Prague . Let us hope the treatment works and he makes a full recovery.

To me she was (and of course) still is a little girl in need of medical treatment she could not get in her home country. Having been shot and gravely wounded by a terrorist.
She is not a little girl. She is an outstanding young Muslim woman.
The 'little girl' was awarded the Nobel Peace prize.

Yeah, not bad for a 'little girl'.

Re: Ashya King
Kids'n'Cancer UK said as the NHS had now agreed to fund treatment, and the Kings had made money from the media and online appeals, it would spend the cash on other children."
Wheres I can understand the Charity wanting their donation spent on children only , It would have been nice if it had waited until Ashya's treatment is finished. I am sure the Kings would have returned any balance at the end of Ashyas' treatment was finished to Kids'n'Cancer , including money from the Public. I don't know if I missed anything while the Family was away, but initially it was thought that Ashya might need 30 treatments over a period and obviously it would be good if the Parents, at least one of them , was in Prague 24-7.

Great News ..Aysha has finished the treatment
I have just watched a news Report and Ashya has only one more treatment . The Clinic gave a Party for him , all his family and the Clinic staff were there and Ashya was sitting at the table , shy , but looking well.
His Father and Mother looked as if the weight of the World was taken from their shoulders , relaxed and happy .
