Re: Ashya King
Just up on Facebook from Ashya's brother, Naveed.
Things are moving so fast! High Court has been in contact with our lawyer and could agree transfer to Prague tomorrow! Lets hope they do! We have a family member staying with Ashya all night, Ashya was so happy when he saw my parents and tears were broken, many tears!

On sky News it was reported that a Judge will lift the Ward of Court ban , maybe today, and want to know how the cost of the treatment in Prague will be paid. If he is a kind judge he will say the NHS will pay the cost and the Fund pay for the Family Expenses in Prague. There could of course be a Hospital in the U.K. which will provide Proton treatment .

Oh...that's great news Chrissie I just hope a U.K. Hospital can be found which has Proton treatment , not only would it be cheaper but keep Ashya nearer her Family which has endured so much over the last few days.

I would have thought that his family would be with him wherever he had the treatment. Anyway, very good news.

Yes chrissie, the Family will be with him , but Prague is a long way for all the Family to visit the Hospital and if a Private Hospital can do the Op it is better for all concerned. I believe the Oncology specialist sent to Spain by Jeremy Hunt will be reporting and maybe the Judge will decide the Family have been through enough and order the NHS to pay instead of a children's charity that needs the money , but is being very magnanimous.

Mystery donor offers to fund Ashya's proton beam cancer treatment
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/11074256/Mystery-donor-offers-to-fund-Ashyas-proton-beam-cancer-treatment.html
Charity Kids’n’CancerUK raises money to pay for children to have the treatment when they do not meet the criteria for the NHS to fund it.
The charity set up an online page after hearing of the King family’s anguish and says it has been inundated with donations. In the first 24 hours it raised £30,000 and it is understood the mystery donor will cover the rest of the £150,000 cost of Ashya’s treatment.
So the charity sets up a page similar to 'justgiving' and people donate.

She is not a little girl. She is an outstanding young Muslim woman.
Re: Ashya King
I hope the Kings not only get the best treatment possible for Ashya but I also hope they get a heartfelt apology for the horrible way they were treated. When you think of the treatment given to the McCanns, it makes it all even more unbelievable.

It's impossible to understand. But it makes it even clearer how much the saintly duo has been protected.
Parents given treatment plan deadline

The Proton Therapy Centre in Prague has said doctors in Southampton have agreed to refer Ashya to the clinic after two cycles of chemotherapy in the UK, which is likely to take several weeks."
This is very worrying because the reason Ashyas' Father took him from the Southampton Hospital was because he had no faith in their treatment, said his Son would end up like a vegetable, two sessions of chemo seems a lot for one so young.

We agree on that. I understand, that they are friendly with one A. Blair. Which would explain a lot if it's true. Just a story I heard once, there may be nothing in it.

Not a lot tanszi .....especially when Proton have so generously donated a private jet to take him to Prague. The University Hospital where Ashya was being treated have offered to provide the Clinic with any information they need .
