I liked her , very funny Lady.

I thought she was already dead to be honest ....she looks it anyway.

I used to think she was funny but the last few years I've found her rather offensive.

Don't be orrible kitti actually , I agree the Botox on her lips made her look as if she had been punched in the mouth and her humour a bit risque, but liked her.

Yes, she was, and her horrible remarks about the Palestinians were well out of order.

ETA: Latest is that it was on CNN's Twitter feed but they were hacked and she's still on life support.

NYPD Investigating Joan Rivers' Death

Probe widens from the health department investigation

The New York Police Department is investigating Joan Rivers' death, a police source confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter on Saturday.

The 81-year-old comedian passed away on Thursday after being taken off life support. The previous week, she had entered Yorkville Endoscopy for a routine procedure on her throat when she reportedly suffered cardiac arrest. She was admitted to Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan later that same day.

"Yes, NYPD is investigating," the police source told THR. "We investigate all such deaths, meaning 'not by natural causes.' Although it might end up being ruled natural by the [medical examiner], when it's not readily apparent, we investigate,"

On Friday, the New York City's Medical Examiner's office told THR Rivers' autopsy was "pending further studies."

The New York State Department of Health has launched its own investigation into Rivers' death.

Thanks AnnaEsse.....I read at the time that there was concern because Joan did not have a problem with her heart and this was considered a routine operation , although at 81 yrs of age and so many , 70 in total , cosmetic ops she did well.

One of her best lines, to me, was made when Elizabeth Taylor had gained such an extraordinary amount of weight, and Joan remarked: "She has more chins than a Chinese phonebook!"
