I see the Sun has an article on the same subject and the comments are brutal (as they should be).

I just hope another child wasn't refused admission based on the school was holding the space for Madeleine. How the McCanns can walk around with their heads held high is beyond anything I have ever seen or heard of. The way the review/inquiry drags on at such an expense is just madness.

Pathetic!

Why would a 14 year old be wanting a place at that school. She would be ready to take exams to take her to the next level. If she was alive.

I've been thinking the same thing for ten years now, but the stories keep coming, each one even more ridiculous than the previous one.

We have had the junior school keeping her place for her. Presumably the primary, secondary schools and university have kept a place ready for her as well.

One of the newspapers described the schools as Madeleine's "old school." How can any school be her old school when she never had the chance to attend any school?
