Abigail Prescott Appeal

What a beautiful child. I hope her parents raise the funds for her. Is there a bank account set up and where is it ?

I hate seeing kids sick like this. Please let me know where I can make a donation.

there is an Irish child there at the moment, only heard them talking about her on the radio the other day. Hopefully many children will get the opportunity to have their sight restored.

From what the family have said this is not a noprmal procedure for all blind people....it was because she had the tumour and that was taken away there was a chance she could have lost her sight.....they told them before they operated her....

Has Abbie had her operation yet Amber?? Does anyone know?
Tried to do a search on this story but to no avail...

It isnt an op as such....she's in China now but she has to stay for about 5 months for a series of injections (she's only had one so far) and massage so they wont know yet if it works or not!

Her grandfather told me exactly what it was they are doing but he was talking very medical talk! When I see him this week I'll ask him to explain simply so I can remember the words !

It didnt at the time I asked him but now you've asked I cant remember the exact words he used...I'll ask him again and write them down

Abbie is now home but it'll be a few more months before her parents know if she will see or not....She has taken all the medication...been sent home and its now a waiting game, unfortunately!
