wish I had read all the mails before I signed
never mind, though hope it doesn't mess it up with all the UK members signing.
(I had to put 000 before it accepted it and I have had a email back from them)

PJGA- Citizens in Defence of Rights and Freedoms – Project Justice Gonçalo Amaral

The International petition is still not up, it will be soon. At the moment the only petition working is for Portuguese citizens and foreigners who are resident in Portugal. The Portuguese petition has to be validated by and ID card number, called Bilhete de Identidade. Both petitions have the final objective of being send to the UN Court of Human Rights, the European Parliament, the EU Ombudsman, the Portuguese petition will also be sent, if we achieve the number of signatures required [5000], to the Portuguese Republic Assembly - our parliament.

There are already in place social sites where you can follow the project updates. At twitter

Really? I can't even see the list of signatures! In that case, this second one needs to be deleted.

Thanks Kaz. I just checked and there was a problem with my Firefox browser. Checking with IE I could open the signatures list and I saw my name there. I'll email the address you posted, in order they delete my second signature.

The difference is that the PT petition asks for ID, so the signatures are valid for the Portugese Assembly (5000 minimum are required).
If you are not a Portugese citizen, but have signed the PT petition, may we ask you to just sign the international petition also, we will remove your signature from the PT list.
