The Pink Puppeteer still lurks in the background pulling the McCann's strings then. Wouldn't it be a Christmas Present worth waiting for if the child neglecting duo were arrested as they stepped of the plane?

And Maddie will have the joy to watch her loving parents in tv, for short time, in the cellar by PDL. That will be her xmas present, from the loving parents. They could come back when the golfing season is better....

Madeleine's Parents Launch Libel Case

The parents of Madeleine McCann are to travel to Portugal for the start of a libel action against former police chief Goncalo Amaral, who made claims about them in a book on their daughter's disapearance.

Madeleine was nearly four when she went missing from her family's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in Portugal on May 3 2007 while her parents dined with friends nearby.
Despite a massive police investigation and huge publicity worldwide, she has not been found.
Mr Amaral was involved in the initial investigation to find Madeleine but was later taken off the case.

In his book, The Truth Of The Lie, he claimed Madeleine was dead and questioned the McCanns' account that she was taken while they were eating with friends.
In September a Portuguese judge granted an injunction banning further sale or publication of the book.
It also banned Mr Amaral from repeating his claims about Madeleine or her parents.
The injunction came after a year-long campaign by the McCanns' lawyers to prevent the publication of the book and a subsequent DVD.
Speaking after it was granted, Gerry McCann said false allegations had done immense damage to the search for their daughter because Portuguese people would be dissuaded from coming forward with information.
At the time he said: "There's a lot of people in Portugal, who might have evidence, that believe Madeleine is dead.
"If people believe that, they won't search for her and they won't come forward with information."
At one point Portuguese police made Mr and Mrs McCann, from Rothley, Leics, arguidos, or formal suspects, in their daughter's disappearance.
They were questioned by detectives but their arguido status was later lifted and since then they have continued to campaign to find their daughter.

Sky Breaking News --McCanns off to Portugal to launch libel Action !
Sky news now have the story as `Breaking News` !!!
The McCanns will be at the hearing for the first day, but are expected to return to the UK `fairly swiftly` !!, Yes, I`m sure they will. Mind you, you would have thought they`d have used the trip to `look` for her, nah, maybe not !
Sky really should do their homework and point out that the case is actually about Mr Amaral appealling the injunction !

I bet they will be on a flight quicker than a blue arsed fly, they could not go back for the Police Official Reconstruction but they can to sue for money, that says it all really.
It is all about the two of them always has been and always will be, their own self preservation and selfish survival is the most important thing that matters to them.

They were questioned by detectives but their status as formal suspects was later lifted and since then they have continued to campaign to find their daughter.
But isn't it the McCann's and the T7 who have continuously done immense damage to the search for their daughter:
Kate McCann refusing to answer the 48 questions even though she was made aware that by not answering she was jeopardising the investigation, which sought to discover what happened to her daughter.
Gerry McCann releasing info regarding Maddie's eye defect against the advice of the PJ who told him that this could put his daughters life in danger. Gerry went against this advice because he believed Maddie's coloboma was a good 'marketing strategy'.
Kate and Gerry McCann + the T7 refusing to do a reconstruction that may well have helped in the search for Maddie.
Kate & Gerry McCann using inordinate amounts of fund money to pay totally inept and unscrupulous private dicks with no experience in tracking missing persons to search for their daughter instead of simply having the case re-opened by the PJ so that they can use their immense resources and experience to continue the search for Maddie.
I could go on but the 'immense damage' list is endless.
They make me sick!

And surely the fact that at least one of their investigators is being suspected of fraud on a huge scale, would do far more to sabotage any investigation which is taking place or has taken place. Than anything an ex-policeman who actually worked on the case has to say.

This is a total fabrication - the trial starting on friday is regarding the injuction of Goncalo Amaralls book it has nothing to do with the libel action
Why are Sky and yourself reporting this pink version of events
It is totally wrong of "The NEWS channel of the Year" always there first - Im sorry
Total distortion of the events, spin - ask yourself why Martin

Re: Amaral V McCann trial
Search search search...
I always read search.
An investigation is important, not only and necessarily a search.
And the police WOULD search! If they could investigate, Kate and Gerry!
The citizens don´t search, no.
It is not their job. Its the job of the police now after more than two years.
And a confession would be fine, Kate and Gerry.

Madeleine's Parents Launch Libel Case
Mark Langford, Sky News Online
The parents of Madeleine McCann are to travel to Portugal for the start of a libel action against former police chief Goncalo Amaral, who made claims about them in a book on their daughter's disapearance.
The couple plan to attend the opening of the trial in Lisbon on Friday, their spokesman Clarence Mitchell said.
The couple plan to attend! I reckon they have been told to attend! Because, if they didn't have to go, they wouldn't!
"They only intend to appear at the opening and I would expect that they will return to the UK fairly swiftly," he said.
Clarence says he 'expects' them to return to the UK fairly swiftly. So, in other words, he evidently doesn't know if they will return swiftly or be required by the authorities to stay a little longer!
Madeleine was nearly four when she went missing from her family's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in Portugal on May 3 2007 while her parents dined with friends nearby.
Went missing... Not abducted then!
Despite a massive police investigation and huge publicity worldwide, she has not been found.
Mr Amaral was involved in the initial investigation to find Madeleine but was later taken off the case.
No longer referred to as a disgraced cop, but now as 'Mr Amaral'... Not thrown off the case but now 'taken off the case'. The times they are a-changin'...
In his book, The Truth Of The Lie, he claimed Madeleine was dead and questioned the McCanns' account that she was taken while they were eating with friends.
Excellent publicity for Amaral's book.
Methinks reporters are beginning to get the message out in a very subtle way.
Maybe we should start reading more between the lines in future!

Re: Amaral V McCann trial
Actually when the authorities fail to search a really concerned parent does whatever is necessary!
Sarah Taylor is one such parent. The McCanns are NOT.

Another quote from Sarah Taylor which I think bears comparison with the McCann case.

Missing Libya girl image released
Computer generated image of Nadia Fawzi
The new image is designed to show how Nadia could look at the age of six
A computer-generated image has been created of a girl from Greater Manchester who was abducted by her father and taken to Libya in 2007.
The family of six-year-old Nadia Fawzi hope that the image of how she could look now may help reunite her with her mother, who last saw her two years ago.
Since her disappearance Sarah Taylor, from Wigan, has moved to the country in an attempt to find her daughter.
Nadia's father is in custody in Libya but refuses to say where the girl is.
Libyan Fawzi Abu Arghub abducted the little girl under the pretence he was taking her to a party. Instead he boarded a plane to his home country and left Nadia in the care of someone else.
Ms Taylor, who is divorced from Nadia's father, left her civil service job, sold her house and left her friends and family behind to move closer to where she believes her daughter to be.
It feels as though you've had your heart ripped out and he's trodden all over it that's how strong it feels
Nadia's grandparents Dot and Dave Taylor
She has even written to Colonel Gaddafi, the north African country's leader, begging for his help.
One part of her letter read: "I'm throwing myself at your mercy and appealing to you as a family man to help me find and hold my little girl in my arms again."
In July, Prime Minister Gordon Brown asked the Libyan leader for his help.
Ms Taylor's parents, Dot and Dave Taylor, said they were devastated as they had lost their granddaughter and now their daughter has emigrated to Libya.
"It feels as though you've had your heart ripped out and he's trodden all over it - that's how strong it feels," they said.
The pair are having regular meetings with Leigh MP Andy Burnham, who is lobbying Mr Brown for more action. Mr Burnham has even flown out to Tripoli, to see Ms Taylor.
Her parents will travel to Downing Street in the New Year in the hope of convincing Mr Brown to persuade Colonel Gadaffi to permit British officers to enter Libya and assist in the hunt for Nadia.
Det Supt Phil Owen from Greater Manchester Police is keen to help in the search and is treating it as child abduction.
He said: "[Fawzi] has not been a doting father. He's not been around for her formative years and then to come along on the pretext of a party and taking her out of the country - it's despicable really.
"We have some expertise, it's quite common for officers to go out to a number of countries.
"But I wouldn't like to seek to undermine what the Libyans are doing - it would be going out in an advisory capacity and supporting Sarah."

Another quote from Sarah Taylor which I think bears comparison with the McCann case.
"No-one in authority has helped me. The government doesn't want to know, even though Nadia's father has broken the law, so I am going-it alone.
"It has been hard saying goodbye to my mum and dad, family and friends but everyone understands Nadia is my life.
"If I have to live permanently in Libya, I will. I can't sit around and do nothing. Nadia is too precious for that."

Hair done up nice! Its a wonder that couple do not start up their own movie business with them starring. Such uncaring people and full of themselves.
