Surely some mistake?
I think Duarte said she didn't have a copy of the CD so it couldn't be admitted as evidence. The Judge kindly arranged for a CD to be brought to her urgently. That is my understanding.

The British police told the Portuguese officers what the capabilities of the sniffer dogs being used in the investigation were.

In early legal discussion, the female judge agreed to ask for details of the police investigation to be made available to the McCanns.
This might be why LP made the Announcement. I honestly don"t think this Judge is impartial, letting the McCanns have police investigation Files (why didn"t Duarte request these earlier, she has had months to prepare for this case) not immediately taking control when the McCanns said they would only testify after
Amaral.
Maybe they needed a more experienced Judge for such a high profile case.

One of the dogs used to search the apartment in Praia da Luz identified blood and another identified the smell of a human body.

She's trying to send the subliminal message to the court that they consider the contents of the file to be of no importance, and thats why she failed to bring them. Pathetic posturing, but worth a try in desperate circumstances.

Pity these two hypocritical auld trout didnt recall Kate & Gerrys comment that they decided to check on the kids MORE FREQUENTLY after the why didnt you come when we were crying comment.
keep an eye on them, Hare

I'm wondering if Duarte deliberately avoided the police files so that she could say she had not seen them and therefore ask for them not to be brought into the court?

1. The dogs detected the traces inside the dining room of the holiday flat and in the car the McCanns were using.

Of course the police are wrong about the dogs. But Gerry and Philo McCann are right. Incredibly unreliable. Just like lassie. (Who actually was quite clever, intelligent and reliable.)

I think the whole case probably rests on those Police Files, if just one other Police Officer agrees with Mr Amaral then that should be that...
Shouldn't it?
