Police outside the Courthouse, maybe sky have been told to "move on".
It's gone too quiet! I may have to do the washing-up if this carries on!
I gather you are having the same problem, nothing since 9.05am.maybe sky jumped the gun, but surely they would have known if the Hearing was being held in camera? If there was a technical hitch, sky would have
announced it by now.
Guess you can safely do the washing up , Iv"e just checked out Sky News and they are saying "follow live
coverage on Live Blog@skynews.com. Is that a different link to the one we have? They just showed photos of the M cCanns arriving at the Courthouse, looking relaxed.
I might have to break out the emergency supplies of chocolate!

I know, I turned the phone off, made a packed lunch and a Thermos of Coffee and it is all for nothing.!!!!
Watching Alastair Campbell being questioned about the Iraq War, he is not getting away with dodging
questions.

Hmm. disabled comments. They won't like what people will say. Well the McCanns want justice for Madeleine. I know we have all wanted justice for Madeleine for a very long time.

The legal teams have arrived. Goncalo Amaral is sitting on one of the benches at the side of the court, around 15ft away from the McCanns.

So it isn't behind closed doors then, that's great.
Sandra Felgeiras is outside, poor woman is soaked and almost getting blown away, gave a alongish report on the witnesses for Mr Amaral, said about thepolice from LP refusing to come, the one who did the translations(?)

Didn't it used to be Kate and Gerry?
It used to be tragic kate and gerry, devastated kate and gerry. Who would have known looking at the photograph of them coming out of church that day.

I wonder whether the 'young woman' has got kids.........wonder if it will influence the outcome, being a woman rather than a man...just thinking out loud!

Go Goncalo.
This isn't getting the housework done is it? oh well!
am very proud of myself for having a live link on one tab and blogs on another tab; to think before Madeleine disappeared middle aged me didn't even know what a blog was.
May she be in peace, wherever she is.

I'm wondering too.
Has kids: might not be too impressed by serial neglecters or might do it herself!
No kids: no understanding of what children need.
Young woman might be an advantage from the point of view of most male judges might be masons!

1. Mr Amaral's lawyer addresses the court, speaking very slowly and deliberately.

1. He is declaring the 'principle of contradiction' - the legal basis for Mr Amaral's argument to be made.
1. Mr Amaral's lawyer has said that the McCanns should take the stand in order to answer questions.

It's been women who have wanted to hear my views on the McCanns all along and have shared my doubts after listening. I think a young woman is a good choice - I hope.
