Proceedings have ended for today

A witness has the right to NOT answer any question posed with an aggressive tone. If Paiva is clever, he will use it in his favour and from that moment on, the lawyer will have to address the Judge and the Judge poses the question.

I think Jon di Paolo did a good job today - must be hard to tweet all day long!

My neighbour's vac has just started up. There hasn't been a sound from there all day. I wonder if they were following!

Apart from the cadaver-scented or possibly blood-scented cloth, not been much news today really.I wonder of proceedings are really over or if JP didn't dare report what he was hearing??

The BBC have put something up just now - very non-committal IMHO.

JondiPaolo Some confusion here- that wasn't the end of proceedings, just a break before today's final witness.

If nothing else today has got several facts out to the general public that they were not aware of
just look on the internet everyone is talking about it facebook, david icke to name but 2
let's hope for some healthy snippets in tomorrows papers ( although I'm not gonna get my hopes up too high)

Im sure a big tough policeman can take it, Isabelle's probably just a fluffy cuddly bunny behind that tough exterior
Is she the one at the Airport with the McCanns? she looks quite small.
Martin Brunt just reporting "Not an easy day for the McCanns". Terrible weather keeping crowds away,
but one Portugese man pointed his finger at the Camera and said "ask McCanns what they have done, we
love Madeleine". McCanns did not intend to speak but Judge has ordered them to, so it will probably be the
last day at the end of the Hearing.

Re: Sky Live Day 1 - 12/01/10
I wonder what they will be asked as they said they weren't going to speak originally?
perhaps it will be questions regarding daniel krugel, their lack of co-operation with the cops re: the 48 questions and the reconstruction. why they claim there is no evidence she has been harmed when clearly there is but no evidence to indicate she is still alive ( we can discount all the sightings since none of them were proven to be Madeleine especially given the history of their pretendy cops)
I wonder if they are beginning to regret starting this suit? they obviously thought Goncalo would roll over like the press did and they wiould have easy money, they forgot that he wanted them in court so even if he loses there will be a lot of stuff now out in the public realm that wasn't known before.
If he wins and i think he will, will they then have to pay all his costs as well as their own and i wonder if he can claim compensation from them for loss of sales etc?
I hope their relatives know a good estate agent cos it might be time to stick by their vow to sell their homes if needs be
