I am wondering if the mccanns will hang around for the full proceedings or will do a runner as soon as they are able because i wouldn't be surprised in the least if kate and gerry are arrested and taken in for further questioning and either choose to become arguidos meaning they can refuse to answer questions and lie through their teeth or are made arguidos because they won't answer questions as witnesses ( otherwise they are commiting a crime)
I think the Pj and the LP to a lesser degree will be following this case real close and comparing their statements there to what is in the files that hasn't been released to the public and all those discrepencies will be noted.
I think the mccanns have bitten off more than they can chew and are now realising that it wasn't as cut and dried and they were led to believe especially with the fact that the police files are being allowed as evidence.

Gerald McCann on walking into court made mention of wanting the evidence Madeleine was dead again. The cocky bastard.

I hope that Amaral has something else to substantiate the dogs evidences - because McCann's lawyers will keep on saying the dogs are 'unreliable' until they drop dead.

What I found so funny today is when it was reported that Kate whispered something to Gerry and gave a little smile. Gerry kept his eyes forward but a minute later put his arm around her. I wonder how today's events are being digested by Anna Raccoon. From her blog of today, the closing paragraph:

I think she said something along the lines of "What if I get an uncontrollable urge to jump up tell it like it was?" and he put his arm around her to keep her in her chair

Don't know if this has been noted - but just seen Brunty on tele saying that Kate phoned the paives guy and said that she'd had a dream that Madeleine was up near the rocks at the top of the hill. He implied that this meant Kate knew Madeleine was dead. Sorry, rushing to do 100 things at once and not been online since 4:20.

I saw it too, very odd of the man to think that IMO. I think it was Brunty who also said aobut the charges the McCanns could have faced and that they had been 'cleared'.

Must have missed that trial then l didn't think they'd been 'cleared' of anything!!

I was really shocked to come home from work and see this lot! And Martin Brunt on Sky just now saying ' damning evidence' was found. They are very stupid to do this and it will finish them off once and for all because it's not looking good for them.
