Paulette Gebara Farah
this almost seems a carbon copy of maddie............without there goverment stepping in
an important similarity between these cases is that the police almost immediately recognised that there were discrepancies between the statements of the witnesses who had most recent contact with the child involved.

Re: Paulette Gebara Farah
Little girl mysteriously disappears in Mexico
31 MARCH 2010 | POSTED BY ASTRO LEAVE A COMMENT
by Julio Olvera
Nobody saw nor heard anything. The surveillance cameras of the luxurious apartment building did not register anything out of the ordinary either, in the case of a little four-year-old girl that mysteriously disappeared from her home in Mexico.
The case of Paulette Gebara Farah, a little girl that suffers from speech and motor impairment, immediately referred the local media to that of British girl Madeleine McCann, in a resort in Portugal, in 2007.
Both girls, aged four, disappeared in a strange way; no locks were forced, and no doors were broken; nothing to indicate an act of violence, or anything to indicate the presence of an intruder or an abductor.
The little Mexican girl disappeared in the early morning of Monday, the 22nd of March, from her home in a condominium in Huixquilucan county, an exclusive residential area on the border of the State of Mexico with the Federal District.
Paulette’s parents swiftly addressed the media and used the internet to ask the public for help in finding their little daughter, as part of a broad campaign, after having filed a complaint with the authorities.
Nevertheless, a week later, the case suffered a turnaround as a judge authorised the General Attorney’s Office of the State of Mexico (PGJEM) to preventively arrest Mauricio Gebara and his wife, Liseth Farah, as well as two nannies.
This was due to the fact that the child’s parents and the nannies were the last persons that had contact with the child, and because they offered different and contradictory versions in their statements.
Each one of these people “has falsified their statement”, Mexican prosecutor Alberto Bazbaz told the press on the day before.
“At this moment, we can say that derived from the extensive investigations, we are able to determine that at least the four adults that were inside the house, offered different and contradictory versions on different occasions, and therefore there are inconsistencies that drive us to make a deeper analysis of the facts”, he said.
According to versions by the little girl’s parents, on the night of Sunday, the 21st of March, Mauricio Gebara handed Paulette and her seven-year-old sister over to his wife Lisette Farah, at the entrance to the Porto Vita 2 condominium in Interlomas, west of the Mexican capital.
The father and the two girls were returning home, after a weekend trip to Valle de Bravo, State of Mexico.
In her statement, Mrs Farah asserted that, once inside her apartment, she led the two girls to their bedroom to put them to bed; nonetheless, the next morning, one of the nannies, upon arriving at the house, noticed that Paulette was not in her bed.
When faced with this situation, according to the versions, the nanny alerted the little girl’s parents, who started a search over the entire house and the building, where they found no trace of her.
According to the police, there are no images to confirm that the little girl was in the building between the evening of Sunday the 21st and the early morning of the 22nd; the building has surveillance cameras located on all entrances, restricted access to the parking area and 24-hour surveillance.

Re: Paulette Gebara Farah
Another imperfect child that would prove to be a liability as she got older.
I am betting the parents and nannies forgot about all the cctv and restricted access.
I am wondering if they saw the child enter the building and not leave, so either the child is dumped somewhere in the building or the cctv captured the parent(s) and/ or nannies leaving and carrying something which a 4 yr old could be hidden in.
If an adult was spotted at sometime carrying say a large bag, case, box that might well contain the body of a child then the culprit is stuffed.
I wonder also as it is apartments whether they have a chute for dumping rubbish into a large bin. If so then it is possible the child was dumped down there and the body removed either by the garbage men or again one of the parents / nannies could have removed the body and disposed of it that way.
Either way it is likely said child is dead at the hands of those meant to love and protect her.
I think one benefit that has come out of the death of Madeleine is that police are now more suspicious of any claim of a stranger abduction and they aren't going to mess around if they have reason to believe that a parent/ carer is involved. They have seen the carcrash investigation that happened in Portugal due to interference from governments and threats to anyone who doesn't buy into the fallacy of a stranger abduction.
I hope they find her and give her the decent burial denied her and bring down the full force of the law on all those involved.
The poor child, just another statistic on the wall of abuse, neglect and murder.

"According to information given by State Police Authorities, four year old Paulette Gebara Farah was found dead in the apartment where she lived with her family. There are still many questions to be answered, for example why wasn´t she found before? The body was hidden in a plastic bag between the matress and the base of Paulette´s bed."
Really sad, poor little girl, especially if it turns out to be at the hands of her parents.

Re: Paulette Gebara Farah
Poor little thing.
The main thing for me is the expression "discrepancies in the parents and nannies statements".
There's a difference between forgetting the odd little detail, possibly because of shock and fear, and "discrepancies".
To me, "discrepancies" means that a LOT doesn't match.
Same with the Tapas lot. No way was it just a little confusion. It was downright lies, but obviously the police can't say that, much as they would like to.

Re: Paulette Gebara Farah
I wonder if this child was found a lot quicker than was expected? If the death took place within the home, and she was killed by someone she knew, you'd think they'd have waited to alert the police until the child was moved from the house. Perhaps they thought that nobody would think to look for a human being where she was hidden? It doesn't seem possible that this could have been a crime carried out by a stranger (not even a half-naked Frenchman ), and I bet they hadn't counted on all the surveillence cameras. It's unfortunate that the lack of CCTV at the Praia da Luz holiday site has enabled ridiculous sightings of 'Eggman', 'George Harrison', etc to be broadcast as pertinent representations of abductors.

Poor wee lamb, no matter what happened she didn't deserve to be stuffed into a plastic bag and shoved under a mattress. Definitely some sort of foul play involved here! No wonder the McScum didn't want to get involved with this one; maybe they are "wising up"!

If there was CCTV cameras all over the condominium and she was not seen being taken by anyone else, or leaving on her own, the only possibility left, is that she was inside home.

Just to let you know that the death of Paulette has made the news here in Portugal (I've seen it on the TV news in all four mainstream channels) and that they have mentioned some of the similarities with the Madeleine case as has been mentioned in Mexico.
