Official Madeleine Face Book Page, to be Investigated....

Just found this on Face Book, dont no if it has already been posted, mods please delete if duplicated.....

Just thought you should know. The Official Find Madeleine Facebook Page has been reported to and is being investigated by the Metropolitan Police Fraud Squad

Thanks for that lily......hope something happens and they get into trouble BIG TIME.

I do find it a bit ridiclous if I am honest....its a flippin facebook page! What does it even matter? Sometimes things get too silly for words and to involve the fraud squad.....

It is because the Find Madeleine page involves people donating money, and there is the possibility that people's Facebook accounts have been hacked and their details harvested. The fraud squad are quite right to get involved.

Too right they should be investigated. They have hacked peoples accounts and posted a warning message about posting about Madeleine on facebook. Something along the lines of "She needs protecting because she is a child" WHY DIDNT THEY PROTECT HER THEN when she was relying on them?? Didn't they realise she was a 3 year old child then?

Weren't they bragging about being able to hack peoples accounts a few weeks ago on the Official Madeleine page? I am sure others have screenshots of it.

I don"t subscribe to facebook or twitter, but if the McCanns are appealing for donations on facebook, that really is disgusting .

All this miserable pair have done is waste over £3 million of Fund money , none of which has been donated by them except the Royalties
from Kate"s book which will not amount to the same sum Kate received as an advance and kept for herself.

If they sold their house and other possessions , donated all proceeds to the Fund, sacked Carter Ruck. moved into a Council House I would have some respect for them

Apparently the "official" Find Madeleine page asked for all "unofficial" pages to be added to it. Facebook complied and hence we have this. The "pro" trolls on twitter were insisting last night that it was Facebook's idea (when asked for evidence they went away - no change there then)

- - if this is true -- instead of the Mc's going along to give evidence to the inquiry on phone hacking - they will be invited along to answer questions about e-hacking dispicable people do dispicable things

Morning NoStone, what a choker if they are found guilty of e-hacking, oh the shame of it.

I posted earlier on the pottingshed link saying this reminds me of the Petition they set up to get a review. It was with an American Co. which does not have to have stringent rules, so there were loads of "Anonymous" signatures, duplications of signatures , even pages.

OFFICIAL FIND MADELEINE CAMPAIGN INVESTIGATED FOR "SUSPECTED ON-LINE FRAUD"
The membership of The Official Find Madeleine Campaign has risen alarmingly over the past week--5,000 members in less than a week, and 3,000 members in less than two hours on 9 November. This in itself is suspicious. Additionally, I and several others have been contacted by Facebook with emails, headed "Facebook Warning", and which begin thus:
"Your migration request has been denied...."
It would appear that someone--exactly who is yet to be decided--may have been infiltrating our Facebook accounts with a view to "lifting" our Friends List onto the Official Find Madeleine Campaign Facebook Page. This may NOT be the administration of the said account, but someone else. What IS known for certain is that many people have been added to the Campaign Page without their knowledge.
This matter had been reported to Leicestershire Police, and a copy of the report submitted to Scotland Yard's Fraud Squad. The OFMC is a site which involves canvassing for money, and if they are hacking into our accounts--I am NOT accusing at the moment--then this matter needs to be investigated, as they MAY be acquiring funds under false pretences.
