Sick people aren't they carly.
Both my parents passed away well over twenty years ago and I still to this day, could never ever say that I have learned to live without them.

When something happens to your child, for the sake of the other kids, you HAVE to try and live without them and try and have a semblance of a normal life. That old saying life moves on is very true, however unpalatable it is. It;s either try and make the best of it or die.

well i could never move on until i knew where she was or if she was safe i wouldnt be able to move on ever if i was a parent id be wondering is she safe is she warm is she being abused etc thats if she was abducted which i dont think so

Maybe I am wrong BUT if you are claiming to be heading up one of the, if not THE, biggest searches in the history of searches for a daughter you believe to be alive then why would you even say you were learning to live without her... Surely the fact you are still searching proves that comment to be untrue.
You either hope and search or give up and learn to deal with your life without the person NOT both....

.... again, maybe I am wrong, not being arrogant BUT I think I am correct in my view here.

Agree with you shaun, if you've lost someone through death, a bereavement, then yes saying your taking one day at time to get over your loss i can understand. but if your sure the person is alive, and still activly looking for them why say your learning to live without them? i am sure if maddie, is ever found alive.. ( imo, not very likely) then surely she will read at some point what her parents have said.. we are learning to live without her... what actually did maddie mean to them?

My old Granny had a front parlour that she kept as a shrine, to two of my uncles who got killed in the war. Nobody was allowed in there, or got to touch any of their things. I only ever saw inside there a couple of times, but pride of place went to two huge photographs of them in their RAF uniforms, and a sideboard with their things on - cigarette boxes, cuff links and so on.

I don't remember their younger brother (my Dad) running around in their clothes or shoes, or taking their things. And I cetainly don't remember any money pots centre-stage on the sideboard.

The McCanns are not normal people.

I don't think we ever learn to live without people we have loved and lost.My dear old mum has been dead over four years now ,and the gap she left in our lives is too great to ever be filled. We i think some how try to compensate for our loss by trying to fill our lives with other things ,but the gap never gets any smaller.

Carly those two are a complete mystery to me ,they are without doubt the coldest couple i've ever seen.If and its a big if, it was proved beyond doubt they were completely unconnected to Maddies disappearance, nothing could make me like these two .they are rude arrogant and generally unpleasant people. They seem to put no value on life,if you think your child is in danger ,how do you function ,they seem to manage quite well, most parents would fall to pieces ,but not them.It aint natural IMO.

Also let us remind ourselves when they say were told not to show emotion, but then put Madeleine Alleged Eye birthmark for all to see , if she had been Allegedly Abducted putting her in further upmost risk !!!!

I do hope our UK government are not Party to any wrong doing, but at this stage its hard to know.My hope is they were led into this because of who knows whome.
And like most of the Population in the UK at the time, believed what they were told had happened on the night of May 3rd..
