Re: MAN ARRESTED IN JO YEATES MURDER
I just received this from MythExposure, must say, according to people who know him Tabak seems O.K., however, I"m sure he wouldn"t have been arrested without hard evidence.......what a turnup for the books eh?

The neighbour of Joanna Yeates was last night charged with her murder.
Vincent Tabak, 32, will appear before Bristol magistrates court on Monday accused of killing the architect, whose body was found on Christmas Day.
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Jones said: “This evening we have charged Vincent Tabak with the murder of Joanna Yeates.
“I would like to pay tribute to Jo’s family and Greg for their assistance and dignity in the most difficult of circumstances. Their support to us has been invaluable.
“I would also like to thank the general public for their help and the information they continue to provide to the investigation, and the residents of Canynge Road for their co-operation and patience.”

Timeline of the Yeates inquiry
20 Jan 2011
The Dutchman had been in police custody since his arrest at 2am on Thursday.
He had been living in a basement flat next to the Canynge Road property where Miss Yeates lived with her boyfriend, Greg Reardon.
Teams of forensic officers had been examining Mr Tabak’s Canynge Road flat, where he lived with Tanja Morson, 34, his US-born financial analyst girlfriend.
His arrest took place in the top flat of a converted Victorian house in Cotham, Bristol, less than a mile from where Miss Yeates was found.
Meanwhile, the father of Miss Yeates’ yesterday said he did not think his daughter knew Mr Tabak.
David Yeates said that as far as he was aware “their paths never crossed”.
Speaking from his home in Romney, Hants, Mr Yeates said he hoped that the police had arrested his daughter’s killer, but that neither she nor her boyfriend had ever mentioned Mr Tabak.
He said: “I’ve seen him [Mr Tabak] just the once. I’ve never spoken to him. I didn’t know his name, I didn’t know what he did. Jo and Greg never mentioned him, they didn’t socialise. As far as I know their paths never crossed. Their firms might have worked together but I have no idea about that – Jo never mentioned anything.”
The flat where Mr Tabak was arrested, in Aberdeen Road, is co-owned by Emily Williams, 31, a friend of Miss Morson who has been travelling in Chile since early this month, and her sister Lucy Williams, who lives in London.
Michael Williams, the father of the two sisters, said Mr Tabak’s girlfriend had been anxious to move out of her own flat because it was close to the scene of the murder.
Speaking at home in Magor, south Wales, Mr Williams told The Sunday Telegraph: “I know Emily was friends with Tanja. She worked with her a couple of years ago at Dyson. I don’t know her circle of friends but I know of Tanja. Emily said Tanja was in the flat next door to Joanna Yeates. She mentioned Tanja and her boyfriend.
“I know Tanja said that Joanna was murdered and she didn’t want to go back to her flat. Emily told me this before she went to Chile.”
One neighbour said she thought she had last seen Mr Tabak and Miss Molson “a few weeks ago”, in contrast to earlier reports that she had not been seen in the area for months and that the couple may have split up.
Mr Tabak’s arrest followed the filming of a BBC Crimewatch reconstruction, and an appeal by Mr Yeates, 63, and his wife Theresa, 58. Both events have prompted over 300 calls from the public.
However, relatives of Mr Tabak yesterday said they were convinced he was not a murderer. Speaking in Doornenburg, near Arnhem, Pauline Tabak, the suspect’s sister-in-law, said: “He is a kind, friendly, intelligent guy. He is well-educated and has a good family and a good job. He is not capable of murdering anybody – absolutely not. He is a sweet, gentle person.
“We can’t say any more until Vincent gives us more information that he wants us to pass on. But there is no way he murdered that young woman. We are totally convinced that he is innocent.”
Mr Tabak’s brother, Marcel, added: “I am shocked that he has been accused of murder. He is a nice man. They have got the wrong guy.”
Clifton residents said they were surprised by the development. Mandy Golledge, who runs The Mall Newsagent, said she was stunned and described Mr Tabak as “gentle”.
“He and his girlfriend are a nice couple,” she said. “They often came in on a Saturday for the paper. He seems like a very gentle, nice man. I haven’t seen them recently but then locals have said he’s been away since before Christmas.
“It’s a bit of a shock, as everyone who has been in the frame is a customer of mine.”
Since Mr Tabak’s arrest, a witness who lives nearby claims to have heard a woman screaming “Help me” from the building where Miss Yeates lived on the night she disappeared.

MURDERED Joanna Yeates's parents came face to face with her killer for the first time today — as Vincent Tabak appeared in court
Grieving David and Teresa Yeates had not met the engineer, 33, in person as he had previously appeared via video link from prison.
The pair arrived for the pre-trial hearing at Bristol Crown Court holding hands and accompanied by two police officers.
Dutch Tabak denies murdering landscape architect Jo, 25, just before Christmas last year — but has admitted her manslaughter.
He faces a four-week trial due to begin next month. Jo — who lived in Clifton, Bristol — vanished after going for drinks with colleagues on December 17 last year.
Dog-walkers found her frozen body in a snow-covered lane in Failand, Somerset, on Christmas morning — three miles from her home.
The gruesome discovery sparked a massive police hunt for her killer.
Tabak lived with his girlfriend in the ground-floor flat adjoining the one Jo shared with her boyfriend Greg Reardon.

has pleaded guilty to Mamslaughter, Joanna was strangled. Jo"s parents said at the time that they didn"t know Jo and Tabak were friends but I think
it was established that they knew each oyher from work.
as you say , it"s going to ne a dreadful time for the parents, for the first time knowing HOW Jo died.
