Can you please not be doing with this North London 'love in'. Spurs and Ar$enal fans dont like each other and its also a well known fact that most Man Utd fans live in Slough.
If you want to support a proper London club then you really need to get down the Den and see how its done !

Arsene Wenger has reiterated his desire to keep star striker Robin van Persie at Arsenal, despite the striker refusing to join his team-mates on their pre-season tour of the Far East. Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson revealed his side tabled a bid to bring the Dutch striker to Old Trafford on Friday.

After whats been happening in the past 10 days I'd be surprised if RVP stayed, though you never know. I just hope we can 'find' Modric so we can sell him

MATCH REPORT: SEATTLE SOUNDERS 2 CHELSEA 4
Summary
Chelsea began our pre-season tour with a victory thanks to some sharp shooting from two debutants and a youngster keen to make his mark on the first team this season.
Romelu Lukaku, who featured only fleetingly in the last campaign led the line from the start at CenturyLink Field and looked every part the modern striker, firing home twice inside an entertaining 45 minutes.
In between his strikes, there was a goal apiece for Eden Hazard and Marko Marin, who each enjoyed a lively first outing in Chelsea blue, as Seattle struggled to cope with their pace and sharp interchanging.
Lukaku opened the scoring inside the first three minutes after being put through by Josh McEachran and Hazard doubled the lead shortly afterwards with a deflected effort.
A misplaced pass from McEachran allowed Fredy Montero to bring his side back into the game on 13 minutes though, and they levelled through the same player on 31.
Chelsea were not to be pegged back though as Marin opened his Blues account five minutes before the break, marking an impressive debut, before Lukaku added a fourth on the stroke of half-time.
Roberto Di Matteo made seven changes at the break, while his Seattle counterpart Sigi Schmid preferred to use his subs throughout a slower second half, in which both sides threatened but neither could score. Kevin De Bruyne was another significant debutant at half-time, and came closest to adding to our tally.
We now move on to New York where we will meet former manager Carlo Ancelotti and his Paris St Germain side in the first ever football game at the new Yankee Stadium.

Re: Footie Thread...................
Who needs Van Persie? Far East fans flock to greet Arsenal in Kuala Lumpur
Any thought that Arsenal's only pull was Robin van Persie was blown out of the water on Sunday morning as the club arrived in the Far East for a pre-season tour.
The Gunners have flown halfway around the world to forget about the troubles at home with their captain, who is angling for a move away this summer.
And waiting for them at Kuala Lumpur airport was a throng of supporters just desperate for a look at the club's true heroes.
The 24-man squad is shorn of several first-team regulars still recovering from their exertions at Euro 2012, but nonetheless contains plenty of world-famous faces.
Theo Walcott - himself in contract discussions with the club - is the star turn , while Alex Song is certainly the most striking, arriving as he did wearing an astonishing pair of trainers and topped with his now trademark crazy hairstyle.
The players had travelled in glorious comfort, with access to beds and, in Walcott and goalkeeper Vito Mannone's case, chocolate cake . Johan Djourou and Lukas Fabianski even got behind the bar.
So much for getting fit for the new season. But, hey, if the captain's not around to keep tabs on you...
Back in Britain, the fight for Van Persie's signature between Manchester duo City and United, as well as Juventus in Italy, continues.
United’s move to sign last season's Premier League top goalscorer is hanging in the balance because Arsenal are refusing to budge on their £30 million valuation.
City, meanwhile, want to sell either Edin Dzeko or Carlos Tevez before committing to a big deal for Van Persie. But they will need to act swiftly to take advantage of Arsenal’s impasse with United and mollify manager Roberto Mancini.

Re: Footie Thread...................
You're making it worse! AVB blasts Modric as he hands AWOL star £80k fine
By Sportsmail Reporter
PUBLISHED: 13:01, 22 July 2012 | UPDATED: 14:34, 22 July 2012
Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas has criticised midfielder Luka Modric who will also be fined £80,000 for refusing to train.
Modric tried to quit Spurs for Chelsea a year ago under the then management of Harry Redknapp, and this summer appears keen on a switch to Spanish champions Real Madrid.
Reports have suggested that the Croatia international has failed to travel with Spurs on the tour of America - something Villas-Boas has alluded to in the Spanish press.
Speaking to AS, he is reported as saying: 'I think Modric is wrong. This will go against him. He has worsened the situation with what he's doing and now the chairman (Daniel Levy) is very angry.
'This is also not a good time for Daniel Levy, who is in the USA at the moment, because his wife is ill.'
Villas-Boas also admitted Modric would be a major loss if he leaves Spurs.
'He's good, very good. I tried to sign him last summer for Chelsea. He will be a big loss.
'He's a player who can make the difference, who gives a lot of clarity to the play when the team needs it and who can play in several positions,' he said.

These footballers do make me sick. Now they are saying Modric is on strike!! Maybe he should appreciate the sickening wages he is on, most people earn in a year what he does in just one single day. Plus he saves more with tax dodges, and not paying the going rate people on a pittance have to pay
RVP wants 10 million a year!!

mmmmm good answer Cherry. I am hesitating, because if the little cry baby Modric wants to strike I am never going to defend him. Its good he is being fined for every day he is behaving like an utter twat. Put him in the reserves for 2 years, that will teach him respect

Have to agree Modric behaving like a prima donna having a tantrum
going on strike is ridiculous, he has nothing to go on strike for, he is just throwing
all his toys out the pram

Wenger has just admitted that RVP may be sold before August 18th. When the manager says this it looks inevitable imo. At least they know where RVP is, unlike Modric!
