I'd not really call the Algarve Resident a newspaper, more of a series of adverts for ex-pats who don't want a Jonny Foreigner to do their plumbing or garden, people who want to buy Hp sauce and teabags, they just sling in the occasional story in the rag. It needs to be picked up by a daily like CM or something and it hasn't yet, but we can live in hope.

What a succinct description - I should have thought that pork pies to go with the Hp sauce would also be high on the list. You're right about the daily though, but would it make a huge difference? Keeping a low profile might be more effective perhaps?

They all lie under oath and nothing is said or done about it, yet a member of the public gets all the full power of libel from carter ruck & government powers against him for merely expressing his concerns and his right to freedom of speech....Its a worry that the majority of the public do not really know what is going on in this county

There's nothing surprising to come out.....5 years and the amount off people that have walked past 5a and dissected it, walked the walk...how can there be any surprises.....mr amaral and the pj and the people that came in after mr amaral etc etc...no surprises...

I think your probably right kitti, it would be great if Pat could find something in PDL but what could there possibly be now?

I've recently read Pat's book about her many years working as a criminal profiler. What is clear that, to someone who is trained in this area, it's amazing just how much they can glean from visiting the crime scene...even years after Pat will be able to get a much better insight as to what may or may not have happened. Pat's track record working on murder cases is very impressive and she will know what to look for.
