Thanks duncanmac....my memory is quite good, I just can't find stuff. Maybe Jane went in the afternoon and Gerry after he finished work. The
point is, if Jane was trying to say she hardly knew Kate, that's not true. also, The McCanns were living in Queniborough, Leicester and I remember Tanner and Obrien live in Essex.....a long way to go to visit someone in hospital.!!
Yes, I think the Portugese Police were intimidated by the Tapas 9, the U.K. Government and had they insisted on a recon while the McCanns and OC
staff were still in PDL, the case could have been solved by now.

Jane and Russell
Panda, they currently live in or near Exeter, not in Essex. I'll have a rummage around to find out where they lived before then. Someone will probably beat me to it though.

Thanks NBY, I knew it looked wrong when I typed it.
Another rumour, a long time ago was that Police went to their House in Exeter and took away a soiled sweater. At the time I thought it tied in with the
runour that O'Brien did a tracheotomy on Madeleine ......but wouldn't you think they would have disposed of the sweater as soon as they could???

Dr O'Brien lived in Leicestershire, near the McCanns, before moving to set up home in Exeter with his partner Jane Tanner. He works at the Peninsula Medical School at the University of Plymouth's Exeter campus.

Morning ann_chovey how you doing, you don't post so much these days. Trust you to find the info So presumably they were still
living in Leicester when Jane visited the Hospital. Do you by any chance remember the post on 3a's about Police taking away a Sweater from the house
in Exeter? It might explain the blood spots on a wall and behind the settee.

Hi Panda, not posting much but I do read. I do remember talk of Russell's sweater. Thing is who was wearing it when?
http://forum2.aimoo.com/MadeleineMcCann/Calendar-Timetables/What-were-they-wearing-1-949469.html
Jane was wearing Russell's smock style sweater when she left the Tapas bar.
I remember I was wearing, because it was cold, I’d got Russell’s big, I’d borrowed one of his, erm, fleeces, so I’d got a big sort of fleece, it probably came down to about here, but then I’d got flip-flops on and cropped trousers, because I’d only got, I didn’t take jeans, I know I didn’t take jeans on holiday,
Russell......
On the evening I was wearing brown jeans/cord style trousers, a pale blue stripe top, and Jane had taken my jumper which was blue. The nights were quite chilly which is why Jane had my jumper I am quite use to the cold.

For the last few days I have heard the voice of Sir Amaral - his words
"Very soon the world will know the Truth about the Lie for the little girl with no voice"
I seriously think Kate and Gerry McCann and their buddies are done guys,
Gut instinct - says times is almost up!!!

ann_chovey 100 out of 100 for that!!!!! Now, this is where it gets interesting remember on 3a's there was talk of OBrien being asked to do a tracheotomy? That could account for blood not sick on the sheet that he washed and hung over the Balcony taken from 5a. Jane could have invented
the stranger carrying a child to protect Russell, not the McCanns. Remember Russell was gone for a while . Why would they be specific about what gthey wore that night?

After allegedly attending to his vomiting child for an hour, he returns to finish his steak, and we are supposed to accept that this was responsible parenting.

"As long as the Tapas tales tally with Kate's recollections as depicted in the bewk, they'll be ok."
Er, erm, actually NOT!
Tanner could not have possibly seen GM and JW standing outside the gate to 5A because GM was on the OTHER side of the street as told by KM in the boooook.
THE TRUTH, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, from KM.
"As he (GM) closed the gate to the street behind him, Gerry SAW Jes walking towards him on the OTHER SIDE of Rua DF Gentil Martins"
"Gerry hesitated about pausing to speak to Jes and took a few strides before making up his mind and CROSSING OVER to say hello" (p70)
So JT can say what she likes, because that leaves absolutely NO ONE chatting outside gate 5a on her side of the street because JW and GM were, according to KM, who dosen't tell lies, ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STREET!
Yet strangely JT draws an "unhelpful" sketch placing BOTH JW and GM on her side of the street! Oopps.
More strangely JW draws an "unhelpful" sketch placing himself AND GM outside 5a on JT'S side of the street. Oopps.
Dave 'grabbit' Edgar, superseulth, says JT and JW are WRONG,WRONG,WRONG about paymaster Saint Gerry because he's on the other side of the street and always has been.
next. this is easier! lol.
"The McCanns’ spokesman Clarence Mitchell said they and their friends would do everything to assist attempts to discover what happened to Madeleine."
The McCanns and their friends don't have to assist to discover what happened to Madeleine, THEY ALREADY KNOW!
She was 100% 'abducted' (as confirmed by Lord Leveson, Mr Sherborne and Mr Jay at Leveson inquiry)
LORD LEVESON:
"appreciate the terrible impact of your daughter's abduction" Lord Leveson
MR SHERBORNE:
"coverage that you received following the abduction of your daughter."
MR JAY:
Q. And in terms of fixing ourselves back into the dates, the abduction of your daughter, I think was it 3 May 2007?
Now, if these THREE Learned Counsels KNOW what happened to Madeleine in sure the T9 also KNOW!
What more is there to 'discover'?
Right?
GM
"I thought IT WAS QUITE HOT and I didn't need to cover her up."

Pants of ganga was the way an online translator translated 'jeans' back on 3A or the mirror forum days. Someone used it as their username thereafter

GM"I thought IT WAS QUITE HOT and I didn't need to cover her up."
Lord Levesons opening words to the mccanns: "Before we start, you've probably heard me thank others before you for coming along, voluntarily, to speak of matters which I have no doubt are intensely personal and extremely sensitive, and I am very, very grateful to you for doing so. In your case, of course, nobody, and in particular nobody with children, could fail to appreciate the terrible impact of your daughter's abduction on you and your family, so words of sympathy for these appalling circumstances are utterly inadequate, but I am very grateful to you for coming."
Lets remind ourselves how distraught they were on Maddies birthday 9 days later:

Morning Wintabells , I remember reading that JT met KM in hospital, could it be they were expecting their Babies at the same time and that,s how they became friendly?

Right - yes - well I think Scotland Yard should definitely be knocking on Leveson`s door pretty soon as he obviously knows what happened to Madeleine.

Another waste of taxpayers money, what exactly was that enquiry for..hacking I thought .....so how did the McCanns manage to stick their oar in?
@ jd16.....thanks for the photos, the only one I had seen previously was in the "box". They were still in Portugal so I just wonder where they were taken.

Very good spot re the pink trainers!!!!! There has been discussions about pink trainers and the cleaner remembering the kids wearing pink trainers and I think with flashing lights. Just wondering why kate has pink trainers as none were ever found for the kids....mmmm interesting
