isn't it sarcastic?
Or maybe its some sort of manual, 'How to loose a child whilst on holiday?'
I can really relate to holidaymakers 'ignoring' their kids with their noses
stuck in Kate's bewk..... "anyone see wee Jimmy?"
"Wee Jimmy? Oh yes! Didn't we bring one with us called Jimmy?"

She ought to enter limbo dancing contests she would earn plenty of money from the prizes then she wouldn't have to spend time thinking up more lies
as surely there is only ONE story to be told so how can she keep adding to it.
Trouble is amber, her nose would knock the bar down , Pinnochio springs to mind.

Well now I know. I have been wondering what they would do to commemorate the fifth anniversary what with the competition they have to deal with this year - the Queen's Jubilee and the Olympics. Last year they only had the royal wedding to consider. Get the manual out in the spring so that holidayers can bone up on how to lose your child while on your summer vacation.

Re: Kate McCann is working on an updated paperback version of her best-seller, Madeleine
and will they be organising collections around the Olympic crowds to raise monies to hire some
more detectives who have no experience in finding missing children, or make a few more mortgage payments. It saddens me that people who donated to the fund did so in good faith, and they would have been better off donating to a bona fide registered charity who needs the money.

Lillyofthevalley wrote:Panda wrote:The End Is Nigh wrote:At least "kidnapping" is a different way of misrepresenting Madeleine's disappearance.
Waiting for the Rugby so just playing catchup here. "Kidnapping"........taken by force for ransom, "abducted".......taken by force. Is this a deliberate error?
also, We know Kate received £200,000 from The Sun and a' substantial advance ' from Transworld, which would have had to be repaid before Royalties.
What we don't know is exactly how much went into the Fund, couldn't the McCanns have told the public, many of whom were donors, either through their
FindMadeleiene website or facebook ???????
Just read this on FB by a poster...Average £1.25 per book , that isnt much is it, why the hell did they inform us Kate made £2m seems to me, surprise surprise, that the papers are telling porkies......AGAIN!!There is way too much prejudice taking place against anyone who does not agree with the McCanns version of events. No one seems to have read the McCannfiles--all the McCann supporters do is hate anyone who does not believe that their daughter was abducted. Most of Mr Amaral's assets have been frozen, and contrary to pupular belief Kate McCann has not made £2 million from her book--but around 10% of this amount. A quick check of the figures by way of the proper channels, or by AAA records or by way of the Society of Authors, will reveal exactly how much she has made--an average of £1.25 per book. Now, the publicity will recommence for the paperback with numerous ploys, such as newspaper "exclusives" which are nothing of the kind, possible sightings, etc. And of course, the release of the book has been deliberately times to cash in on public sympathy as the fifth anniversary looms--in a year which also sees the Jubilee and the Olympics. This will be the McCanns last big chance to add to their dwindling fund, as one governmental source states that, after this summer, moves may be made to declare madeleine legally dead. This would only be fair. Many other people are missing, whose families have not been afforded the same privileges of the McCanns, who have not always been forthcoming with answers to questions posed during this overlong investigation.
...............Or is it that they don't want anyone helping them anylonger with the fund because they have made such alot from the book????
The Book only sold for a short time at £20 , then it went down to £10, even £7 at some Airports. the Advance have to be repaid befoire Royaltises
which should have been credited to the Fund. Trouble is, it will be the end of the Year before we know what the income was.

Sadly I think you are right about the Movie Mossman. There was talk of making a movie a while back but they back-tracked following public reaction. Maybe they think now the public would be more accepting. How else are their expensive legal team to be paid if they don't keep coming up new ventures to keep the money coming in?
Hi Autumn, maybe Kate could take in washing, she has a gift with those hard to remove stains. Maybe cleaning as well, she knows a toothbrush is good for grouting, it's where the grouting is missing that is the problem.
Hi Bobsy maybe they could market their own brand of washing powder to get rid of those 'hard to remove stains'.
Do you come home from work, your clothes reeking of Cadaverine? Why not try the Amazing
McCann Whitewash Powder - Especially effective for removing Blood and Semen Stains

Will the updated paperback contain a chapter on how to turn your "missing" child into a cottage industry within days of her disappearance?

Indeed: So quickly and efficiently, in fact, that it could almost have been pre-planned.

I hope the rumours are not true about them being approached by Domestos to advertise some of
their latest Bleach products! I cant think why Domestos would be approaching them for this purpose

As for the book she can always update us with the ludicrous 'Leh' sighting. If she was really serious about helping the search she'd be standing at airports giving them away. What a totally insensitive statement about holiday reading. This whole tragedy is like some sick soap opera/reality show. Denise Welch to play her in the film. All imo only!

Domestos only kills 99% of all known germs. The other 1% are pink.

But Kate is worried about the size of her non-maternal-looking boobs! And Denise likes to show off her rather ample pair quite regularly!

She does have that certain arrogance, a permanent sneer and vacant empty eyes.... oh and yes she supports child abandonment because she thinks it's ok for Kate to do it....everyone who doesn't is a 'nutter'.cherry1 wrote:Fiona Phillips might fit the role.

ive always had a thought re the mcanns from day one . let em write their boooiks let em get vast ammounts from the papers , give them enough rope and all that , cos they have no respect for their missing daughter . let them live in the celeb bubble , because it will get popped . they have 2 children to look after and they are very lucky that there wasnt a fire or anything and they lost all 3 children

But she is not working on an updated search of her daughter Madeleine.
WORKING on the new boooook takes precedent over THAT!
Less WRITING, more SEARCHING, i say!

If she is in a hurry to publish this book, it's most probably because they fear a disclosure of information by Scotland yard, and after that, it will be impossible to make money. Because the "new" informations won't be new anymore and perhaps, if they are suspected, nobody is going to buy the book at all.So, last chance to make money before the big fight.

of course - the book is for this years holiday makers and will give all hints and wrinkles as to how make a fortune on the back of your kids......
just a pity the great majority of UK holiday makers take a holiday to spend time with their children and would be in no state to make a fortune if
they were to lose a child. Its a pity Kate is so out of touch with the British public.

Is this going to be an annual event? The updated guide for British tourists? Rather like the updated National Trust guide or the Good Pubs Guide?

Agree with you FE, it's all spin, spin, spin and hope they don't get caught along the way.
BTW who said 'Kate hopes the book will be a hit with holidaymakers?' Appalling choice of words!! it's all about the money....
