So much for the media wanting to get revenge after the McCanns' appearance at the Leveson enquiry! That didn't last long.

amount of money he has supposedly earned not the hindering or their search and how it made them ill.......jealosy will get them nowhere.

Amaral has lost virtually everything as the result of the Healy/McCAnn saga - money is just one aspect, and not even a very important one when you compare it with the amount of money made by Madeleine's parents through Fundraising, publishing their own book ("Lie Of The Truth" , I think it was called? Someone will correct me if I'm wrong) etc.

I wonder if CR would be interested in taking up the case on behalf of Amaral against the Mirror - on a no win - no fee basis of course or are they choosey about the views of their clients to a point that skews their professional impartiality? Its a pity Anne Bremner cannot team up with a firm of UK lawyers and work these things across international boundaries - that might threaten the UK cartel on keeping Britain secret!

By saying that she was writing the book to give 'an account of the truth,' she left her options open to give a few more accounts of it!

TEIN, this is all part of their paranoia about having to be in charge, from stifling the Press, Forums and of course Amaral's book which has received more
publicity than he dared hope for by the McCanns attempt to ban it.

It is a press release. Exactly the same article - verbatim - was in yesterday's Scottish Daily Record, and is in today's printed edition of the Sunday Mail. Identical down to that icky red-dress-and-lip-gloss toddler picture. No name on the byeline of any of them. IMHO this has come from Team McCann and the papers, what a surprise, have just printed it as supplied. It's disgusting.

Thanks Iris, do the Press honestly believe this will sell more Papers? I think the EU crisis, Syria, British unemployed , etc is far more important and can only
assume the Press need reforming and half the Dailies closed down . Britain has the most Daily Newspapers and as a result standards of reporting are very
low because they all want to capture the Headlines. I suspect The Sun will close down because a lengthy investigation will reveal more skeletons in the
Cupboard.

Somebody raised the point that this press release - spiteful, nasty, petty and childish - was released by Team McCann purely in retaliation for that photo of Pat brown and Goncalo Amaral. And you know what? I believe that they are spiteful, nasty, petty and childish enough to do exactly that. And of course our lazy, overfed, over-expensed and brain-dead press just print it. It's a cheap and easy option to fill column inches and nobody will ever know the difference between a press release and a proper piece of journalism anyway. Or so they think.

So what if Snr.Amaral made '£300k' from the sale of his book? (I'll take that figure with a large pinch of salt)

How much have the McCanns begged from people (£ Millions!!) and how much of that did they spend on the search for their daughter?

A disgraceful 13% !!! And that was spent on useless agencies who had no knowledge of looking for missing people.

Team McScam if you're reading this your efforts aren't lost on the public, the vast majority of us are quite aware who the real moneygrabbers are!

Until a Press Complaints Committee has a modicum of interest in Standards , the British Tabloids will always go for this kind of reportiing . Apparently,
on line Press reports have resulted in falling sales of Newspapers and it's anything for a headline now.

This is a vile, vicious, vindictive article and I'm not suprised that no so called journos dare put their name to it.

Usually the other tabloids pick up these sort of press releases, but it looks like only these two papers have printed this xenophobic bilge. Football's in a flap because of racism and to me these sort of articles that denigrate Dr Amaral are no different. How people like Tony Parsons and others can write and BBC East report downright lies is beyond me.

As it doesn't appear to be in the Sun could it be they no longer have the 'contact' there?
