What a horrible thing to say, of course we would all like to see her found. I just don't think it's a very realistic ambition, seeing as she's probably been dead since 2007.

Ive never said anyting horible on here.

You all post all thetimeabout how her mother nad father havedisposedof her body.
how can you think shewill be found when you post all thetime abouthow sheis dead and how they disposedof her.

not me thats horrible.

Snowflake, please cut out the gross generalisations. We do not post all the time about anything, never mind that her parents disposed of her.

You may want to believe that Madeleine is alive and well and can be found. I am quite sure that most of us here would absolutely love that to be the outcome. However, since there was never any solid evidence that she was abducted and no credible sightings in five years, it is reasonable to assume that Madeleine is dead. If she had been taken by a paedo ring, she would not have lasted very long at all, I'm afraid.

Now, please keep your accusations to yourself about what you think people here post all the time. It is a gross generalisation and totally untrue.

I've had an almost five year 'think' about Madeleine and the logical part of my brain tells me she has been dead for almost five years and that her parents (and probably others) know exactly how and under what circumstances she died. It is a pity that those who should have loved her the most have not as yet come forward and assisted law enforcement in the recovery of her little body so that she may truly rest in peace.

What's 'of' or 'off' got to do with anything .

So it's 'nasty' to think what I think....

Snowflake think what you want to think....I have read the files and I can add that I came to my conclusion WAY before the files were released that Madeleine won't be coming back alive ...that is the conclusion off the files and my conclusion...it's not yours...so be it.

You all post all thetime about how she is dead and how her body was disposed.
How can you also beleive that she can be alive as i hope andpray she is.
thats why im confused.

Obviously so. But it is extremely unlikely, sadly.

Can I ask why you appear to be suggesting that people, anybody at all, would not wish this tragic young girl to be found fit and well? I've never heard anything so preposterous in all my 55 years.

I think Margaret made a good point, which appears to be getting overlooked. The new book is supposed to have an update with the details of the SY investigation, right? That implies that SY are keeping the McCanns up to speed with what's happening. But are they really, or is this just TM spin again? I don't for one nanosecond believe that SY are telling TM everything as they go along. There would be too much of a public outcry at a wasted £3m, for one thing.

It was also tweeted by someone that if the book is scheduled for Spring, and it's about the on-going investigation and review, then clearly even the McCanns don't expect Maddie to be found before then. What's happened to their hope, might I ask, as even they seem pretty confident that she won't be found any time soon.

Here you go T4two. Back on track. Woo hoo.

I too cannot imagine for one moment that SY would be updating the McCanns on a daily, weekly or even monthly basis. That said............ surely every time TM 'spin' the fact that they are being informed of SY's movements they must realise this will be noted by SY. Now I don't expect SY to come out and deny the fact they are passing on information to the McCanns - but it must be a huge Red Flag to SY and cannot be doing TM any favours.

Can anyone tell me their thoughts on why TM would keep 'spinning' stories when those in the know (SY) must realise there has to be an ulterior motive.................... I can't see how TM think this is doing their cause any good.............. surely it must be doing the opposite .................. So what is their advantage in 'spinning' all these stories??...................
