Panorama and Shrien Dewani, Thursday
https://www.facebook.com/Justice4Anni/posts/303385599729331
There are comments about this tv programme on the above link. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post it, but there's been interest in this crime on here, so I thought I'd let people know this is showing. Apparently there's going to be stuff coming out that hasn't yet been in the public arena. It's about time Anni Dewani (and her family) began to get some justice for what happened to her. For somebody who apparently had a lot of debt, Dewani seems to have the money to enable his lawyers to keep delaying things.

Credit card company set him, and the boyfriend planted up Kitti, and the CCTV is doctored, bag of cash is really his mucky washing handed over to the laundry lad- Them there S.A. police are just like the corrupt PJ. Only thing missing is they didn't have a vial of cadaver odour to plant in the hotel room. Idiots.

Re: Panorama and Shrien Dewani, Thursday
I don't remember the BBC running a programme on this but there was one on Channel 4.
http://www.channel4.com/programmes/dispatches/episode-guide/series-97/episode-1
It seems to be still available but registration is necessary first.

I saw the channel four one........had a video off him on there showing them leave the restaurant all dressed. Up and the waiter said it looked odd because they looked overdressed ...HE sent texts on the way to her getting murdered and an interview with a man that said HE payed him for sex regularly And it was verified by credit card slips....also HIS boyfriend came forward who worked for the civil service.
I would like to know what anni was going to tell her father when she got home she said she had something to tell him but not over the phone.

And it was reported that she was seen crying on the plane on their way to the honeymoon destination.

I remember that. I believe he'll get what's coming to him though - and so will others.
Poor Anni, just because she had the misfortune to become involved with someone who was too weak to stand up and be the person he was, yet he could be strong enough to get her murdered.

I agree, margaret. He was too weak to tell his family he was gay and risk losing his share of the income from all those residential homes. So, he allowed himself to be talked into getting married in order to appear respectable.

' But the South African prosecuting authorities believe newspapers carrying video stills of the footage and the airing of the documentary this week, might derail their legal process. '
I sincerely hope not!

Re: Panorama and Shrien Dewani, Thursday
I can sympathise with anyone who is afraid of being honest with their parents for fear of the repercussions - I was there myself many years ago and the repercussions were dreadful - but, if Dewani did plot to have his wife murdered, there is of course no excuse for that whatever.
I would like to think he is innocent (as I would the McCanns!) but the circumstantial evidence together with his efforts to avoid being brought to trial make that very unlikely in my opinion.

Re: Panorama and Shrien Dewani, Thursday
Just bumping this as a reminder of the programme
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/4226205/Dewani-I-will-clear-my-name.html
HONEYMOON murder suspect Shrien Dewani wants to return to South Africa to clear his name, his family insist.Related StoriesDewani ‘gun duo’ in dock
PAIR accused of shooting dead bride Anni Dewani appear in court
Dewani ruling in the New YearDewani ‘death sentence’ claimDewani can be extradited to SA. The millionaire care home boss will learn tomorrow if he has won his legal fight to avoid extradition to Cape Town.
But relatives have told a BBC Panorama probe, to be shown tonight, that he is happy to return there voluntarily.
But they say he must first recover from the mental breakdown which left him in a secure psychiatric unit. Then his personal safety must be guaranteed.
Dewani, 32, is accused of setting up a car hijack which ended in 28-year-old bride Anni's murder.
Panorama also reveal "inconsistencies" suggesting the case against him may not be clear cut.
Anni's father Vinod Hindocha told the programme he will not rest until his son-in-law faces a court.
=========
So now he wants to return but only when he has recovered? That could take a long time. Still he'll find out tomorrow re his appeal.

I'm trying (not very successfully) not to be put off by the presenter being Jeremy Vine! The memory of his disgraceful radio programme with Nina Myscow is etched in my mind permanently.

FavoritedFavorite · Close Open Details The family of Shrien #Dewani say they have not seen tonight's BBC Panorama programme ahead of transmission.
So I guess it just depends on how Panorama have put the programme together.

Re: Panorama and Shrien Dewani, Thursday
So, he's willing to go back to SA when he is feeling better? I'm sure this could be dragged out for years: he's doing well, he's had a relapse, he's responding well to treatment, thinking about what happened to his beloved wife now he's thinking clearly has caused another breakdown....bla bla!!
