The odd thing is, his (?) Posts are very articulate, yet at the same time single-track and deeply flawed.

Is there a Sect that recruits these people and brainwashes them into losing the ability for logical thought?

It is always interesting when the argument seems to be a botched investigation but happy to latch on to those parts of the conclusions of a "botched" investigation that suit.

Heck, another few hours of this, and I might begin to believe the tide has turned for the McCanns, and we are living in a democracy after all!

Now there is someone called "Richard" who has no argument whatsoever, calls everyone else "haters" because they can actually read - and he even chooses to claim that 3 Portuguese "Judges" (Not sure why he disparages their status by putting their occupation in inverted commas) are wrong.

Deluded in the extreme.

When Panorama did their first programme on the McCanns, does anyone know if there was a comments page then... or is this a first?

Little did I know the insanity I started yesterday would be so fascinating.

I have read this comment on Panorama, from Bren:
«About the reconstruction in May 2007 when Madeleine disappeared, in Goncalo Amarals book, he clearly states that the reconstruction was not carried out because the PJ decided against it... the McCanns wanted this reconstruction.»

Not true. If you read the PJ files there are a number of emails/letters from the PJ to the T9 trying to get them to take part in a reconstruction, which the T9 were doing their level best no to & get out from. It was the T9 that said they could not take part in a reconstruction, they were the ones who replied to the request saying they had decided not to take part. It is all there documented in the PJ files...maybe idiots like bren should read up on the facts first before spouting such blatant lies about the truth

The blatant lies they come out with is shocking, even more so if reading the files they really believe what they type.

Anyway, my feelings on this programme are that it will basically follow the 'party line' but throw in some interesting points that won't be lost on 9 certain people.

I just can't see SY and Portugal spending a penny on this case if they didn't think they could solve it, but l don't expect this programme to stir up a hornets nest just yet...

Ah well we knew it was too good to last but at least we know that the sceptics far outweigh those in the "you will obey" brigade.
