Nobody is more guilty of hindering the search for Madeleine than the McCanns themselves. Not only do they have themselves to blame for her disappearnce, but also for the fact that she has not returned and will likely never return alive. They can try to shift the blame to the PJ, Amaral, Murat, bundleman, Smithman, reception girl, internet nutters, but nobody is buying it anymore.

whoever paid for the report is not the issue here but the content. notwithstanding, that content was put in the public domain by the police and crimewatch. the press are free to run with that content and no one can stop them.
