Find Madeleine Team

Since the Metropolitan Police began their review of Madeleine's case in May 2011, thankfully the demands on ourselves and our investigators have reduced. However we still have (and need!) a small team of very committed and experienced people working hard to help us find Madeleine and others available to step in and assist should the need arise.

The 24-hour 'hotline' for people to call with information is still functioning on 0845 838 4699 for people who would prefer to contact us directly.

Along with a campaign coordinator and translators/interpreters, the team has several individuals with invaluable marketing, advertising and I.T. skills who help with the general campaign to find Madeleine.

Of course probably the biggest and most valuable resource we have in our search for Madeleine is the eyes, ears and minds of the general public. Thank you to everyone who has, and continues to help us with our efforts to find her. Please keep going!

But NOT the eyes and ears and mind of a certain Jeremy Wilkins , who was TOLD that his eyes and ears were NOT 'required' just hours after Madeleine had been 'abducted'

So VALUABLE were his eyes and ears, he went back to bed!

So everyone else's valuable eyes and ears but NOT the chap who was in the very street, at the EXACT time, Madeleine was SEEN being 'carried off' by Jane Tanner!

Go on, give us a clue jeanmonroe   UUM, who is Jeremy Wilkins?

Jeremy Wilkins was the man who was holidaying in Portugal at the same time as the McCs. He was pushing his child around PDL in the late evening, and chatted to G McC outside 5A, on this or that side of the road, depending on what Jez or G McC says.

That's right , I remember him now, thanks tanzi.

The doorbell woke us up at about 1 am. It was the resort manager who I learnt to be John and one of Jerry’s friends. I think his name was Matt. He is white, slim, and tall with graying hair. From previous conversations I learnt him to be a diabetics specialist. We met him to the way to the destination. Matt said XXXXX to the effect that Jerry’s daughter had been abducted, and that Jerry said that he had met me and wanted to know if I had seen anything. I said “You’re joking”. I offered help but they said there was nothing that could be done at that stage. We remained at the apartment but could see people around the pool and at the front with torches. I also saw the police arriving. We then went to bed.

Thanks jeanmonroe, I thought it was Oldfield, obviously not. With hindsight, once the Portugese Police eatablished that the Tapas 9 Statements did no tally, they should have arranged a recon while the Mccanns were still there. They could hardly refuse is they wanted Madeleine to be found and the PJ had rented 5a at that time.

I see that to give them what could be vital information to finding their daughter it's an 0845 number. Which of course means that you are paying them to give them the information. They probably keep you on hold for ten minutes whilst playing annoying music. Still it's for the fund
