I don't know if you have a T.V. that you can watch programs from days ago Badboy , but there was a programme on BBC2 at 9pm (Horizon ) on Wednesday which was about Ebola , very interesting. It showed how the virus has little suckers which attaches itself to the cell. Did you know Ebola was named after the Ebola River? I recorded it but havn't watched it yet .

Yes Badboy and the problems are that there is not at present enough of Zmapps to treat many people , nor beds in hospital .

I think it is utterly stupid and ridiculous to send US troops to these places.


It's contained , for the moment, let's hope it stays that way.


Sending in troops to infected areas is wrong IMO.



All it would take is for ONE off the people to show a false positive and then enter back into the US then the scaremongering will start.

Thanks Angelina.......6,000 body bags!!!! I know there is concern about Liberia but the U.S. has probably frightened the Liberian Government .!!! There has been a number of Aid Worker deaths, over100 , and the major reason is the poor sanitation in the villages and the Family of victims are only just burying them. It is very sad, so many without regular food , sanitation and confined by the Hospitals .

During a discussion it was pointed out that Europe has done nothing to help with this crisis and the WHO should be taking control and asking Countries for support . The Americans have been very generous and the only Country sending people to build more Hospital etc.

Who...the Europeans kitti??  Britain hasn't done much either . If more Hospitals and Staff are sent that will be very very helpful, it is estimated that over 100 volunteer Medics have died.  To produce enough Zmapp to cope will take a long time and in the meantime the Countries affected are like Leper Colonies no one wants to go there until the epidemic is over.

No disrespect but isn't the NHS on it's knees at the moment ??? i am sure there would be volunteers but the NHS is understaffed .
