We have a new name...'VIGILANTES'.


Yes it's TRUE.


Summers and Swan have gone winging to the press accusing the 'vigilantes'..all 30,000 off them on a Facebook page ...off sabotaging their book and saying...'there is absolutely no evidence off the parents having anything to do with the crime' as the 'vigilantes' keep asking....'what proof is there off an abduction'.



And the answer...'where is the child' won't wash either


Seems that the answers to the questions they ask people didn't quite seem to be to there liking

I'll let everyone comment on this...

I do hope Summers and Swan have included in their book all the photos of the happy smiling couple, the ones taken shortly after the child´s "disappearance" and the ones taken later at various events where they look so happy. I hope they also mention in their book the very many discrepancies in the fairy stories of the Mccanns and their tapas friends. There are many many things I hope they have mentioned, but somehow I very much doubt it. So until all these things are mentioned as far as I´m concerned their book is just another fairy tale aimed at attempting to convince the world at large that the Mccanns are saintly beings, in other words......complete and utter rubbish.

I'd hoped that they would make an attempt to explain away all the discrepancies - perhaps, as Clarence said, there was an innocent explanation for everything.

Instead they have believed everything the McCanns have said and even use that infantile troll word "haters" to describe those who doubt the story.

Goodness only knows what possessed a pair of professional writers to do this, I don't know.

If they hoped that they'd be able to retire comfortably on the proceeds, they will be sadly disappointed!

I think it backfired hugely. who would have guessed that the Portuguese courts would be delayed because of the new way of doing things. IMO which could be entirely wrong I agree, the timing of the publishing of the book in the UK was designed to overshadow the Libel Trial when is was envisaged it would reconvene and push the McCs are innocent theme. also understand that SY asked for more time to carry out investigations during the period just before the envisioned hearing of the Libel trial and this was rejected (could be wrong on that also, but I know I read it somewhere).

The authors so disappointed at the sales of the bewk cannot believe that people have read the files and will criticise when they make claims which aren't true and are now blaming a campaign by haters. Why they fall so low at to call people who question the McCs and T7 many version of events that night as haters I don't know.

Im also concerned about the timing of the "the McCs are suing the Times" revelation complete with details of all that was wrong with the article. it s all too coincidental that all this is coming out when many thought the Libel Trial would be reconvened. what a waste of time effort and resources. what will they find to publish when the Libel Trial really does reconvene. Will there be another book, another startling revelation, details of someone else the McCs are suing.

Seems the more people try to influence the McCs in a positive light, the bigger the backlash, and its countered calling those who ask questions as haters. Big mistake.

The Blacksmith Bureau is reporting that Anthony Summers has broken INTO a locked psychiatric ward and demanded to be admitted after derision by critics.

According to Novel Rank and Amazon  - 34 copies have been sold in the UK  -  2 in the US  -  and zero in Canada.

There is "chatter" on twitter that Martin Brunt is looking for McCann "sceptics" to interview.

My advice would be to beware and if anyone proceeds let it be with caution.

Brunt is listed in the Acknowledgements Section of the S & S book.
Anyone who is approached for an interview should run a mile.
Always remember that the media have ultimate control in such a situation.
They have the power to edit your words beyond recognition and add extra pieces to camera to make you look stupid and/or dangerous.

IMO the book by S&S was commissioned by the news group which owns the red-top which serialized it. IMO the book was subjected to extensive editing to ensure that it remained broadly neutral and in effect said nothing. The purpose behind serialization of the book by the red-top was simply to increase sales of their newspaper and the numbers of people prepared to pay to get behind its paywall on the Internet. The book itself has to all intents and purposes bombed, but for the news group behind it there is still something to be made out of it by stirring up a "haters" v. poor parents discussion. Thus we have had S&S already introducing this in press interviews. Enter smarty Marty who works for the TV arm of the same news group. Now, what do we suppose his agenda might be?
