I THINK LABOUR IS GOING TO LOSE.
CAMEROON HAS DAID BENEFIT CAP WILL GO FROM £26,000 TO £23,000 IF CONSERVATIVES REELECTED.

I thought they had won the 2010 election, and the one before that and the one before that as well.

THE ELECTION CAMPAIGN HAS BEGAN IN EARNEST WITH DISSOLUTION OF PARLIAMENT,PLENTY OF PROMISES/UNPROMISES ALREADY COULD BE NEAREST THING.

You are 100% right there old son, it is shaping up to be very close thing. Two things disturb me a little, the polls consistently show UKIP as having sometimes more support than the Lib. Dem's and the green party together yet the seat prediction gives them the two seats they already have while the jolly old Lib. Dem share holds up to almost it's present numbers. How can that be? Unless the polls themselves are up the Paw paw tree.
Secondly, it seems the SDP are not going to accept the recent referendum, and are hoping to decimate labour in Scotland and force their numbers in parliament to bring on another one. a la Eire, when they had to have a second "democratic" referendum, having given the wrong answer in the first one. This further raises the point and my government is hotter on this than I am why should the SDP have such a large presence in the English parliament when they have their own?
I say my government is hotter on this than me, they must have had a heck of a debating team at Ayr Academy when she was there.

It all looks like more than a bit of a shambles. I agree that the polls seem to be up the paw paw tree as per
usual. Depends which people they catch on the run I suppose.
The SNP want it all with jam on it. As long as we keep giving in to their demands they will keep demanding. If the referendum happens again because the first one did not suit, then what will they do about their economy as the oil prices have dropped so dramatically? They had a lucky escape the last time but still cannot see it. Oh well if that is what they want then so be it.

Re: WHOM WILL WIN 2015 ELECTION?
As you say fuzeta, the SNP will go on demanding. Nothing short of total independence will suit. I said after the last referendum that the object was another one this time to get the right answer. I have given my views on it elsewhere. I would not like to see an independent Scotland. The rights, and wrongs, and he economics of it are to me at least unimportant. I just love Scotland and the Scots (well one of them at least)

Well Badboy there seems to be a bidding war on at the moment as to who can promise the most to all.
Who will win is anybody's guess. Ed Miliband now has Russell Brand on board so that should make all the difference one way or another!!

Perhaps we should start calling him MiliBrand! He's either mad or desperate...they're an ideal partnership
Bring on the padded cell!

If they have to rely on the likes of Russell Brand given his past attempts at humour, desperation seems to be the answer. During the interview (if you can call it that) I was particularly struck by the ill mannered way he had a drink of (presumably water) straight from the bottle while Milliband was talking.
A few days ago, Clegg announced he was willing to negotiate a new coalition with the tories. Given Alexander's "expose" today, of the secret tory plans I wonder if that could still be possible? I think all they are proving is that none of them can be trusted further than you could throw a rogue elephant.

Hello katertaif, well I read that the idiot Brand had 10 million followers on twitter, mostly our young. Crikey the country is in a worse state than I thought. Plus the Guardian newspaper loves him. Mind you they are ever the ones to love a champagne socialist, the Guardian. Especially one as mad and spaced out as Brand.
As for Nick Clegg he would sup with the devil if it meant him keeping that made up job he has. It shows that he lives in cuckoo land that he thinks the Lib Dems will get enough seats to interest anyone.

There's some who look like pigs....overfed pigs
They are all a bunch of liars...just look at today's news.....LibDems claiming the Conservatives are going to cut child benefit and Conservatives denying it. Well someone must be lying. How can they expect us to have any faith in them when it's obvious blatant lies and backstabbing are going on every day. I wouldn't trust any of them, whatever party they are in. As for throwing an elephant, I'll leave that to Kaitertaif
It was child benefit for the first one only when I had No. 1 son...there weren't any other benefits to help. How we held on to our house I don't know. Now they expect the public to fund any number of kids. I don't object to child benefit but some are just living off it.

Re: WHOM WILL WIN 2015 ELECTION?
The same for me Angelina, I never got any because I only had one. I don't believe in any child benefit. My motto is ' if you cannot afford them don't have them' I never saw why I should pay for other people's kids, especially as some have them at will. Birth control is free isn't it? At the family planning or whatever.

Quite so fuzeta. Another way of putting it is that Clegg is more than happy to put his own interests ahead of the party and the party interests ahead of the country. Unfortunately it seems they are all ploughing the same furrow so to speak. Each putting Himself, party, and country in that order After Alexander's damning indictment of these secret Tory party plans (It doesn't matter two hoots whether they're correct or not.) Alexander has well and truly bitten the hand of those that have fed him for the last 5 years. The same man who as one of the four responsible people in the treasury signed the budget, and that same afternoon was holding up a yellow despatch box. Tells us all we need to know about the LIB. Dems. certainly.
Yet Clegg said only a few days ago that he would be prepared to enter another coalition with the tories, or then again with labour. Whoever promised him his cushy seat in other words. With luck it won't be a concern, if they get done to them what was done at the European elections, and oh joy Clegg himself were to lose his seat..............
I expect them all to start making rash promises about now, promises that they have no intention of keeping, mostly because they don't know how, but this election campaign seems to be going into the realms of Star Trek, pure SCi.fi.
The wish to enter politics should automatically debar that person from doing so.
