Not Born Yesterday wrote:There was a funny topic on CMOMM about Debbie's alleged walk - I don't know if it's still available though. It seemed that the only evidence supplied that she'd actually done it were photos of a bus station in Spain and a pair of worn-out shoes!
Plus a photograph of a Spanish policeman and a shop window full of cakes .

I thought she started it but couldn't complete it, could be wrong though.
I thought that too Fred. Didn't she meet and phone other members along the way.... or may be in my imagination.
i think it was in her imagination as well.
We were in Spain at the time, and I was going to meet her, but I didn't check my e-mails until we got back home. think I perhaps had a lucky escape.
I think she might have started it as when she landed she was at an airport different to where she thought she would be, or some drivel like that.
best ask mumbles. she was doing the live feed.

Didn't she accuse Tony Bennett of fraud and get their account frozen?

She did indeed but there was no substance to her claim.
The worst thing about it was that she put her suspicions on the Madeleine Foundation forum for all to see, instead of dealing with the matter in private.
I was a member at the time and could hardly believe what I was reading.

two old frauds bitching. is it any wonder anyone who harbours doubts over what happened in praia da luz is considered a nutter with those two making so much noise?

Not so much of the old!
I'm sure that those who doubt the official McCann story would still be classified as nutters by the mainstream media even without the efforts of those two.
Most people out there will only have heard of the other Mr B who left his heart in San Francisco!

Sorry folks, I lied to you with my avatar "Je suis Charlie", I will replace it now by a more accurate :
"Je suis une vieille Charlie" ( I am an old Charlie)
Accuracy, acccuracy, how many crimes are committed on your behalf!

Perhaps, in the interests of accuracy, Marky will refer to my drawers rather than my draws.
I apologise if the vision that this conjures up puts anyone off their next meal.

I always say that it's better to leave things to the imagination rather than letting them all hang out!
