I READ THAT LACK OF BEING IN THE SUNSHINE COULD CAUSE DIABETES,ALSO SEEMS LACK OF SUNSHINE COULD CAUSE MYOPIA/SHORTSIGHTINESS.
WALKING IN THE SUNSHINE,YOU COULD SAVE SOME MONEY AS WELL,TURN OFF LIGHTS ETC,ALSO SAVE NHS MONEY AS WELL PREVENTING THESE CONDITIONS.

I HAVE READ AN ARTICLE IN NEW SCIENTIST SAYING THAT SUNSHINE CAN REDUCE BLOOD PRESSURE,HEART ATTACKS AND STROKES,BECAUSE IT RELEASES NITRIDE OXIDE IN SKIN/BLOOD VESSELS DILATING BLOOD VESSELS WHICH IN TURN MAKE IT LESS LIKELY TO HAVE THESE MEDICAL CONDITIONS.
INTERESTINGLY OUTDOOR WORKERS ARE LESS LIKELY TO GET MALIGNANT MELANOMAS THAN WOORKERS IN INDOOR PROFESSIONS.

HERE'S A THOUGHT MAYBE THAT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THAT GREEK ISLAND(SAMOS?) WHERE EVERYONE LIVES TO OVER A 100.

Sunshine is our primary source of vitamin D.We need vitamin D to help us absorb calcium and phosphorus from our diet. These minerals are important for healthy bones.If you dont get enough vitamin D you can get brittle bones and rickets.
However,if you are stupid like me and spend most of today surfing off a Cornish beach where it has been deceptively hot,then you end up in agony burnt to a frazzle ! I got very strong bones though.
