I feel that way too, Yesterday it was his hand jesture when he laid his flower's.
Jo's boyfriend was away I do believe though, but no one know's when and at what time Jo died.
I am more cynical since the McCann's, perhaps I should not be.

Re: jo yeates
Just reporting on sky.
The Police are concentrating on the the time between 17th and 19th December and are urging Residents living in the same street as Jo to try to
remember anything they saw on the night of 17th because there would have been plenty of people around the Area. Jo"s Father believes the Police
know more than they are letting on and checking the CCTV cameras on the traffic and footpath on Clifton Bridge.
To be honest ther boyfriend looked just as griefstricken as the Parents when he laid flowers on the spot where Jo was found and he huddled in grief with
Jo"s parents. As Parents, wouldn"t the thought cross your mind that her boyfriend might be responsible ??? Usually, a person is strangled in temper
and my earlier theory about a colleague of Jo"s is more likely. Anyway, we shall see.

Re: jo yeates
I don't think anyone cannot be touched by the sad death of Jo Yeates.
I feel guilty about writing about such a sad event at what should be a peaceful happy time of year.
Of course it is going to be family, boyfriend friends and work Colleagues who bare the brunt of speculation from us forum people who play at being armchair detectives.
Just as we don't know anything about the personality of JY and her lifestyle, we don't know anything about those around her and should perhaps learn from the past and not point any fingers to quickly.
What we do know is that she
a) Went for drinks with work Colleagues and left at 20:00hrs
b) Caught on Waitrose CCTV but no reports as to if she went in or brought anything
c) From the press conference it appears she stopped off at a Bargin Booze shop
d) Spoke to her Best Friend via mobile
e) Brought a Pizza at Tescos
f) Appeared to have arrived home leaving her coat, bag,Keys and mobile.
g) Did not respond to the text her Boyfriend sent her
h)Was reported missing by her Boyfriend on Sunday night
i) Was found on Christmas morning
Covered in snow and frozen
j) She was found clothed
k) The cause of death was strangulation.
The puzzle appears to be where is the missing Pizza, it wasn't found at home although the receipt was.
It was discarded by JY.
It was eaten else where.
It was removed from the flat.
It was left behind by accident
Why did she leave the house without her coat, bag, keys and mobile?
Because she was already dead or died at home someone took her out
Because she didn't leave the items in the house someone else put them in there.
Because she died else where
How did she get to her resting place?
Someone took her there
Car or Lorry
Motive
The body was clothed so apparently no sexual motives
The Post Mortem suggests strangulation as cause of death. Which to me suggests an argument or anger
What we Do Not Know
Where the Bargin Booze purchase is. Is it at the flat or was it consumed
If she actually went home at all 17/12/10
The post mortem results do not report if JY ate some of the Pizza
If the Bargin Booze purchase missing as well as the Pizza and its wrapping
My Own Conclusions
Which ever way you look at it JY either arrived home took off her coat, left her handbag keys and mobile and let someone in she knew died at home because of said someone.
Or said someone had access to keys coat bag and mobile and simply returned them to the flat closing the door behind them.
If the later is the case it still suggests someone close to her as they would have known her Boy Friend was away in Sheffield! Which unfortunately only leaves Family,Friends,Work Colleagues ,Boy Friend and perhaps neighbours.
Random Thought
JY was an architect who studied in Landscape Design I personally find it some what eerie that her body was found so close to the business Tarmac who deal in aggregates, stone pebbles, and all matter of other things.

Re: jo yeates
It was a Large pizza, more than enough for one or perhaps she bought ready for her and her boyfriend when he came home.
The body wasn't hidden so it was made to be found, perhaps the killer listened to the parents plea, people who murder go to lengths to hide the body just in case they leave anything incriminating at the scene I.e. d.n.a.
Was the front door shut?
It's obvious the police know more than they are letting on.

Re: jo yeates
I can't imagine a person being strangled without scratching wildly at the hands around her throat. I would think the killer would have some scratches or marks on their person during the immediate aftermath. Of course it has been quite a while now, so that may no longer be the case. I expect the police would have looked closely at the boyfriends hands etc. The thing that I found disturbing about the boyfriend was his emotional state so soon after Jo's disappearance. I would expect him to be deeply concerned, but not in a melt down so quickly.

In that case if they know what happened to the Pizza ! They know more than us and we should perhaps let them get on with their jobs. One presumes the Post Mortem would have included stomac contents!

Hi Nits.
The Police have not said anything about a sexual motive as yet or if there was one.
Jo's Purse was not stolen.
There has to be a motive if not sexual or robbery then what? People don't just kill someone without a reason.
The body was not hidden so the perpetrator was not worried about the body being discovered, the Area that the body was discovered a Local Person?.

Re: jo yeates
Personally I believe it is very soon for finger pointing, since the public doesn't know what Police has found so far. It's a very sensitive case in my opinion, and it should just be discussed the facts about the crime and not anyone else involved known to the victim, before more information is made public.
To avoid locking the topic, please keep the discussion just around the facts known so far. Thanks!

Poor Jo's family have made a web site, it's just a free Wordpress thing with two pages, setting out the facts and some newspaper articles. There are some posters to download. You don't have to pay for the posters. Oh, and there is no online shop, neither.

Re: jo yeates
Well, we now know for sure it was murder and that Jo died long before her body was discovered. I feel bad about speculating about the boyfriend, although he is still a likely suspect because he had a key to the flat and might have had some dispute with Jo.. It is always those nearest to the victim who are the most probable suspects..I wonder how sound his alilbi is ??
The boyfriend was included in the family hug by Jo's brother's girlfriend I think... Maybe the police advised the family to keep him close or he could be totally innocent...
