Have to say I like Mabbutt, and I also liked Perryman and Pratt
You only like Mabbutt because we are playing Coventry today and the last time we played them he scored the own goal for them to win the cup

Re: Footie Thread...................
3rd round cup day always look forward to but feel sorry today for Newcastle fans nearly 2000 of them travelled all the way to Brighton to see their team play rubbish.
The Ar$e got a tough game tomorrow.
Not really expecting Millwall to win the cup this year but be nice for a good performance against Preston today and then maybe a home draw against Arsenal.

Re: Footie Thread...................
final score
west ham 2 man utd 2
Great result for West Ham and bad luck they didnt do it, sadly I dont know
if they can get a win at Old Trafford as all the refs are biased there and give
all the decisions to Man. Utd.

I don't like man utd either so thats fine they can just keep drawing.
What a great finish from VanPersie.
Strange that palace decided to play Wilfred Zaha today as he was thought to be injured then they had to take him off when he got tired ! So now he's 'cup tied' odd decision with the rumoured transfer stuff.

Re: Footie Thread...................
If Arsenal beat Swansea in replay they get Brighton, should be an easy match
Spurs could struggle with Leeds or Birmingham and Millwall have a tough job at Villa.

Re: Footie Thread...................
Millwall are at home to Aston Villa in the next round.
That is a great draw couldn't have asked for a better draw than a famous Prem league club at home who are currently going through the dumps.
A full house and raucous atmosphere guaranteed.
Like i said earlier,we know our place and win or loose a game like this is often the highlight of the season.

Re: Footie Thread...................
not as rubbish as Chelsea lioned
CAPITAL ONE CUP
CHELSEA 0 SWANSEA 2
BRANISLAV IVANOVIC sent Chelsea's Capital One Cup dreams up the Swanny.
The blundering Blues centre-back was at fault for both goals as Michael Laudrup's men took a precious two-goal lead into the second leg.
First he was caught napping on the edge of his own box and Jonathan de Guzman played in Michu who curled in past Ross Turnbull.
Then Danny Graham raced in on the Serbian's shocking stoppage-time backpass to send the Swansea fans into dreamland.
Demba Ba could have had a penalty and then had a late, late strike ruled out for offside.
But Rafa Benitez's men now have a huge mountain to climb at the Liberty Stadium.
