The McCanns cut a poor image really.
Their loss was an 'own goal' in the first place and rather than accept this fact they are spending their lives trying to lay the blame on just about everybody else.

I've just posted a message on Joana Morais's website, expressing my disgust at the Sky News article and my hatred, yes my hatred of the McCanns. I've never hated anyone in my life before, but I hate the McCanns. We all know what they have done towards Madeleine, Sean and Amalie, how they've done nothing to find Madeleine, but done plenty to make money out of her. As well as telling lies to save their own skins, whilst not caring about the skins of their 3 tiny children

I was really wound up, when I was writing my post on Joana's website, then a thought came into my head. I wondered if Sky News and other media outlets, are appearing to support the McCanns, in case they are brought to trial. The media must know by now that if the McCanns are brought to trial and any media outlet has printed adverse comments about them, they will claim that they will receive an unfair trial.

A while ago Goncalo Amaral said that he would be calling the McCanns to the witness stand, when the libel case came to court. I hope he keeps to his word, because they have said that they will not be giving evidence, although they will be attending court.

I would love to go to Portugal next February, but due to family committments I can't. If I could go, I would stand outside with a large megaphone and when Dr Amaral walked into the court, I would shout " Justice for Dr Amaral and Madeleine", in Portuguese. I can't speak Portuguese, but I am sure I can learn those few words.

As soon as the McCanns came into view, I would shout "Justice for Dr Amaral and Madeleine", in English and "Jail for Kate and Gerry McCann." they are responsible for whatever happened to Madeleine and whatever suffering she endured, on her way to God only knows where.

This poor couple - its such a shame they are still trying so desperately to prove something and of course this makes one wonder exactly what. Going to the bother of sueing a decent man and getting a `family source` to make false statements about him just makes one more suspicious. Why are they saying the `country`s attorney general has cleared the McCanns` when he has not. Why are they saying Dr. Amaral has made himself rich in the process when he has not. Why are the press not reporting that Dr. Amaral won his case to release his book but the McCanns are still refusing to give all the copies back. Shame journalists don`t check their facts first.

Although i feel for their loss and wouldn't wish what happened to them on my worst enemy, the fact remains that they left 3 small children in the apartment ALONE and they have never answered as to why they did that

It seems the only way to stop a comment getting whooshed is to start it as if you are a supporter.

Well done taking this Sky article and posting it on your site even though you probably knew it would bring awful abusive comments from that tiny group of vile people who stalk the McCanns with their horrid nasty abuse. They seem to pop up whenever the couple is mentioned even when the McCanns here are trying to stop Goncalo Amaral damaging the search for their missing little girl.

Goncalo Amaral who co-ordinated the failed search was (and most people don't know this) on May 4th the first day after Madeleine went missing made an arguido in a perjury case. On the morning when the McCanns were making their statements to the police he was elsewhere being questioned over lies in another missing child case. Amaral was actually found guilty of lying to the courts and given an 18 month suspended prison sentence confirmed after an appeal.

Having been sacked from the Madeleine McCann case for his own actions he then followed with attempts to cash in on his failed search for Gerry and Kate's daughter by writing books about the case. His actions and the McCanns attempts to stop this man damaging the search with his unproven theories should be kept in the public arena. Well done again.

Yes you're right there Almost Gothic. There are times when, for the sake of my blood pressure, I have to take a break from the McCann circus; Tony Blair has that effect on me too!

I will have a problem keeping my tea down after the comment posted by Annabel from the Orange site! As I mentioned earlier, this one will be there till the end of time.

I must admit my first reaction was the same as yours, but then I remembered that we were only saying the other day that the Sun didn"t
seem to be supporting the McCanns so much , so why this diatribe of abuse now???? Amaral can sue them for libel if he so wishes because
they have completed ignored the fact that the injunction was lifted BECAUSE AMARAL HAD CONFIRMED THAT THE PJ HAD ALSO STATED
IN THEIR FINAL REPORT THE THEORY THAT MADELEINE DIED in 5A,.

The Sun has included insults from the McCanns about Amaral and his character........this suggests the McCanns have lost all reason !!!!!!

It is a Civil case with 3 Judges in attendance, so don"t think there will be a Jury. One Judge apparently is on hand to help the one accused
and I would be very surprised if he is not allowed to give evidence and the McCanns not in Court sitting next to their Lawyer ready to
answer questions through an interpreter. To allow 2 days for the hearing means there should be a lot of questions and answers and will the McCanns have to produce evidence from Doctors and Psychiatrists as to their mental anguish. Then of course Amaral would come back with the videos, especially the one coming out of the Church.

How many of the British public knew this trial was going ahead in February?? Not many....

Now many more people do and what's going to happen when Amaral wins? It's going to be plastered all over the news too.

I don't think soundbites like 'self-obsessed' and 'making money out of Madeleine' are lost on anyone by the way!

Things that were said at the Leveson Inquiry are being paid back now - in spades bt the Murdoch empire - to counter the - 'horrible we did not know we had agreed to Kate's diary being published' - and the -

Someone has taken it that as a result of the Leveson performance, they need to give the Mc's lashings of support and stick a big boot in for Amaral...

..it looks like a long anti Amaral press campaing is building up - I hope its all sent to his lawyers so they can harvest the libel.

Seems the sky news story is going down like a lead balloon in forum land. I've been reading on a few other sites on this and the case in general, including the amazon book one, where both sides are engaged in debate.

The egos of the Mccanns are up there in the clouds.

I do hope Sandra Felgueiras has another go at Flat Head on the courthouse steps ...
