Me neither. Although I was served by a waiter in Albufeira who had a couple of different coloured wristbands on, including a yellow one, so I asked him what they were for, turned out they were from surfing competitions he had been in

I've never seen anyone wearing anything either, I have never seen any luggage tags on airport trips, nada.

Me too marxman... but seriously I fly pretty regular also and have never seen anyone wearing cheap and shoddy plastic wristbands other than the McCanns and their fawning flatterers on tv.marxman wrote:"me either and i fly pretty regular at least once a year"

I'm back in the Uk next month for a week. Shall I take some good quality wristbands, luggage labels etc with me and hand them out to the people waiting to collect luggage at Blackpool airport?

I have to confess that I have one, from the time when I was overcome with the hype and the belief that there had been an abduction.

So that they have them and can spread the word that Madeleine is still missing, isn't that why they are being sold?

Perhaps you can wrap the 'good quality wrist bands' around some information on the dodgy duo and the blood and cadaver dog findings. That way you've covered all bases Keela

yes kitti I admit it, I donated my pension, I bought a poster so I could photocopy and post around and bought a bracelet and wore it. they get very stinky with the sweat underneath
This was though in the very early days and the hype was tremendous and I so so worried about that little missing girl that I searched the lawless hills of ? Spain.

Bobsy, when people betray our trust it's their problem and not ours.

Excellent idea! What about including a copy of Goncalo's book ( holiday reading) for good measure?

Re: Official Find Madeleine Campaign. We have updated our online store
If they want a best seller for the website, cuddly eddie and keela's would be a great seller. dogs are so much more appealing to the mass public than cuddle cats.
Bobsy, I am sorry to hear you were swindled out of your money, like so many others. What you did, you did with a kind generous heart, for a missing little girl. That can never change, regardless of what we now know. If I were you I would return the t shirt for a refund, if it is not of merchantable quality. Wonder if they would refund you ?

Thank you Mossman, yes I really thought my pounds would help. I didn't buy a tee shirt though, just poster and bracelet and donations.

Thank you, that's brilliant almostgothic.
$5.20 Rectangle and Oval. Can we really buy them?
Finally, an information sticker that can actually save children's lives.
Keela should definitely pass a few of those out at Blackpool airport!

Don't have a problem with that Bobsy, it goes to show that unlike the rabid haters on the dark side we do have compassion, generosity and understanding over here where it's light.Bobsy wrote:malena stool wrote:Me too marxman... but seriously I fly pretty regular also and have never seen anyone wearing cheap and shoddy plastic wristbands other than the McCanns and their fawning flatterers on tv.marxman wrote:"me either and i fly pretty regular at least once a year"

Bobsy
Like you I also believed the abduction story and I felt sorry for the McCanns when I heard on the news that Madeleine had been abducted from her bed. Although I thought they were idiots I even felt sorry for them when I heard that the McCanns had left their children unsupervised, when they went out. However I soon changed my views, when I started to follow the case.
