Max Clifford explained many moons ago that PR success was killing the stories his clients didn't want to appear usually by giving the tabloids other stories to run. The fact we have this today and the accounts press release (given the close similarity in wording of various articles) only gives more credence to the Lisbon court being bad news.

Yet they are still spinning on twitter and elsewhere, if they really believe the McCanns are telling the truth and were not being paid to post surely it would be a what the hell moment?

The man says he is not a policeman, is not seeking money nor fame and wants to remain anonymous. He adds: “I am sending you more photos of the bandits taking Madeleine McCann and running from the police.

So, he's not a policeman, but he does know about "normal investigation rules." Why would he need to know those rules and how would he know about them? And "...only for this specific case" What other cases might this person have been involved with then?

To the ones taken in by Murrays article, do you seriously believe that a SY investigation are going to hand to a Sunday newspaper the vital photo evidence? If the police needed to appeal for information they make a public appeal, not hand the photo to a newspaper (and to just one newspaper) which they don't publish....doh!

There is a comment from February 2010 in a Textusa article that she/he quoted in her article about half way through as someone in the 'know'. This comment appears to now be spot on and was made before david cameron won the election and 15 months before the review was asked for. Roll forward 2 1/2 years to today and the re-emergence of Raymond Hewlett...

in this very short week when the news is that the McCs have asked for a "negotiation" with the Libel Court and Dr Goncalo Amaral, there is a QC saying Madeleine is dead, done in by the Germans, James Murray reporting on an obvious anonymous donor of a photographed sighting 4 years ago, in no less a place than Brazil, where is Marcus Correia? and a tenuous link with Hewlett, with full details given to the Sunday Express, the Mail tells us the book is keeping the fund afloat, isnt that what it was written for, anyway. And where are the police and the SY review, are they interviewing the QC, or James Murray or the anonymous photo donor, hiya Marcus. when will this stop? jimo
