we all know how tony has stuck his neck out for justice as has ga -- can anyone that has a fb or a twitter post a message on thir fb page or twitter wishing him well -- people that arnt no longer posting on forums can also start asking questions -- cannot see the uk press doing anything in tonys fav so its up to us to spread the word

I can´t see the British press reporting much about this either. Until they win of course, then it will be perhaps headline news!!! I hope it goes Tony's way, but can't see it happening TBH!

Well I hardly think any Judge would dare to use the permitted Scale to its full extent and imprison him.

It doesn't take a legal brain to figure there's more to it all than meets the eye when one individual is besieged by "shock and awe" tactics.

Here's to hoping that the courts see the insanity of using the deep pockets of a fund to silence a single man, when surely those funds could have been put to better use in the actual search for Madeleine. How callous can the McCanns be to be more concerned with their image than finding their daughter? This cannot look good in the courts.

With all that ridiculously expensive firepower the only thing that must not come out in the hearing is the truth. I'm sure the lawyers will try to keep a lid on the discussion and ensure that only the 'contempt' is mentioned. Hopefully, the Judge will be fair and like all of us must realise the shocking one-sideness of this vicious, vindictive vendetta.

I pray that Tony gets through this terrible ordeal and wish him the very best. Truth and justice need to be restored to UK justice. It's well overdue.

I see that Carter-Duck (with which nothing rhymes) have informed TB that their Costs are now £288,503.

There's no way that the Judge will award that level of Costs if TB "loses".

A notional 1p should wipe the Corporate smile off the bullies.

I also note that TB's health is not too good, but that despite it he is not seeking adjournment.

This Case is a scandal, but at least it will reinforce the growing public disapproval of Healy & McCanns' methods.

We don't really hear very much about the original victim any more - That's MADELEINE.

Ironic isn't it that a pair of doctors (a profession charged with curing the sick and improving the nation's wellbeing in general) are hell bent on damaging the health of others who have a differing opinion.

And with what has been observed so far, consider the effect of all this on public perception:

Will we ever be able to trust doctors again?
Will we ever be able to trust the law again?
Will we ever be able to trust our sham democracy again?

The outcome of this case will determine in great measure the answers to those questions.
