Re: EXCLUSIVE: British police identify 'Maddy suspects' and urge Portuguese to act
I think SY are trying to 'play' portugal.
I can imagine Portuguese eyes rolling now....
The fact that the case remains 'shelved' in Portugal and SY are supposedly begging them to reopen the case as they have 'suspects'.....suspects that they haven't even interviewed I may add....did they each turn to each other and say...'let's stick a pin in and see where it sticks and name that person a suspect even though we havent even spoken to him'...that's how ridiculous SY are sounding right now.
What would make this story by SY even more ridiculous is naming the 'suspects'...Mr Grimes...Eddie (a dead one sorry but we must include a dead one)....Keela....Fuckin Tosser man and off course.....Mr Amaral.
Believe me, after 6 years NOTHING would surprise me anymore.

Whatever happens here and whatever SY do or say doesnt change the fact that Portugal is the lead in this case and them saying the case remains shelved says it all.

Just read this in the Mirror article
Former Met detective Peter Kirkham said the cold case review could be the key to finding Madeleine, who would now be 10.
He said: “They bring a fresh set of eyes to the case to make sure nothing has been inadvertently missed. Forensic science has moved on and re-examination of the original exhibits may well lead to new clues.
“If the police go knocking on people’s doors again today they may well find someone willing to tell them what they know.
“Just that one piece of definitive information will blow the case wide open and allow us to finally find out what happened to Madeleine.”

Re: EXCLUSIVE: British police identify 'Maddy suspects' and urge Portuguese to act
Here's a thought.
Front page of the papers
MADDIES ALIVE
They would only put a headline like that if they recognised that the rest of the general public assume that she is dead.
Otherwise, if you follow the Mccann narrative... with everyone all on the same page, you would look at that headline and think
"well duh, of course she's alive, we all know that she is with kidnappers" - however, it is clearly no the case hence the way the headline is written.

That would be amazing. As long as they knew which door, it might be the patio one which they should be knocking on.

Re: EXCLUSIVE: British police identify 'Maddy suspects' and urge Portuguese to act
Daily mail...
SY show Portugal list off 20 people yet they refuse to reopen the case...
So SY are going to say that they may off found the 'abductor' but Portugal refuse to cooperate.
So if SY have the list and are supposedly working together with the Portuguese ...why dont SY go interview these people themselves!

Perhaps changing the 5 to 20 is to make it look like a ludicrous story..perhaps.

Just watched the sky news paper reviews and they mentioned the mirror headline saying that in all statements made today not once was it mentioned that Madeleine could still be alive.

Re: EXCLUSIVE: British police identify 'Maddy suspects' and urge Portuguese to act
I am absolutely sick of reading that the Portuguese bungled this case. The way it reads in the media is that the UK police are the only ones capable of looking at this case impartially, finding suspects and handing them to the PJ to investigate. Yet the nothingness of these media reports also say the PJ wont reopen the case, I wonder why that is. Answsers on a post card please jimo.

I wonder if all this activity really is related to the libel trial and Dr Goncalo Amaral in some way. just thinking out loud and wondering.

Does anyone think it odd that this news is coming out upon the retirement of Superintendent of Scotland Yard's homicide department, Hamish Campbell.
